Operating Instructions

The BONTEC TV Wall Mount offers flexible positioning for optimal viewing.

  • Tilt Adjustment: The mount allows for +50/-100 tilting. Loosen the tilt adjustment knobs, set the desired angle, and re-tighten to secure. This helps reduce glare and optimize vertical viewing.
  • Swivel Adjustment: The articulated arm allows for +/-900 swivel. Gently push or pull the TV to the left or right to achieve the desired horizontal viewing angle. The maximum swivel angle depends on the TV size.
  • Rotation Adjustment: The mount supports 3600 rotation, allowing for landscape or portrait orientation. Carefully rotate the TV to the desired orientation.
  • Extension/Retraction: The mount extends up to 38cm (15 inches) from the wall and retracts to 6.5cm (2.6 inches) to save space. Gently pull or push the TV to adjust the distance from the wall.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TV wall mount.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Periodic Checks: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight and secure. Over time, vibrations or adjustments may cause them to loosen.
  • Lubrication: If the swivel or tilt mechanisms become stiff, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the moving joints. Avoid oil-based lubricants that may attract dust.
  • Cable Management: Use the included cable ties to neatly manage cables, preventing strain and entanglement.
