Product Overview
The Mueller Austria Premium Espresso Machine features an integrated conical burr grinder, a 15-bar pressure pump, and an intuitive control panel for a seamless brewing experience.

Setup
- Water Tank Installation: Remove the water tank from the back of the machine. Fill it with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line. Reinsert the water tank securely.
- Bean Hopper Installation: Place the bean hopper onto the grinder opening at the top of the machine. Ensure it is locked into place. Fill the hopper with fresh whole coffee beans.
- Initial Rinse Cycle: Before first use, perform a rinse cycle without coffee. Fill the water tank, place a cup under the portafilter, and run a double espresso cycle to flush the system.

Operating Instructions
- Adjusting Grind Settings: Use the conical burr grinder to select your desired grind fineness (0-30). Finer grinds are typically used for espresso.
- Grinding Coffee: Insert the desired filter basket (single or double shot) into the portafilter. Place the portafilter under the grinder outlet. Press the single or double grind button to dispense fresh grounds.
- Brewing Espresso: Secure the filled and tamped portafilter into the group head. Place your cup(s) on the drip tray. Press the single or double coffee button to begin extraction.
- Milk Frothing: Fill the milk pitcher with cold milk. Position the steam wand into the milk. Turn the selector knob to the steam setting to begin frothing. Turn off when desired texture and temperature are reached.

Maintenance
- Drip Tray Cleaning: Regularly empty and clean the drip tray. It is removable for easy maintenance.
- Grinder Cleaning: Periodically clean the conical burr grinder to prevent clogs and ensure consistent grind quality. Refer to the cleaning accessories for assistance.
- Steam Wand Cleaning: After each use, wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth and purge a small amount of steam to clear any milk residue.
