4. Setup
4.1 Physical Installation
The camera is designed for wall mounting. Choose a location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within range of your Wi-Fi network and a power outlet.
- Mark the drilling points on the wall using the camera's mounting bracket as a template.
- Drill holes and insert the wall plugs.
- Secure the mounting bracket to the wall with screws.
- Attach the camera to the mounting bracket.

4.2 Power Connection
Connect the provided power adapter to the camera's power input and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its startup sequence.
4.3 App Installation and Device Pairing
The Nivian PTZ camera operates with the Tuya Smart app, available for both Android and iOS devices.
- Download the Tuya Smart app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Register or log in to your Tuya Smart account.
- Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner of the app to add a device.
- Select "Security & Video Surveillance" and then choose "Smart Camera (Wi-Fi)".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. This typically involves resetting the camera, entering your Wi-Fi password, and scanning a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera.
- Once connected, you can rename your camera and begin using it.
5. Operating the Camera
5.1 Live View and PTZ Control
Access the live video feed and control the camera's movement through the Tuya Smart app.
- Open the Tuya Smart app and select your camera from the device list.
- The live video feed will appear.
- Use the directional controls on the app interface to pan (horizontal 355°) and tilt (vertical 155°) the camera.
- Pinch to zoom on the live feed to digitally zoom in or out.

5.2 Two-Way Audio
The camera supports two-way audio communication.
- On the live view screen in the app, tap the microphone icon to speak through the camera's speaker.
- Tap the speaker icon to listen to audio from the camera's surroundings.
5.3 Motion Detection and Autotracking
Configure intelligent detection features for enhanced security.
- In the camera settings within the Tuya Smart app, navigate to "Detection Alarm Settings".
- Enable "Motion Detection" to receive alerts when movement is detected.
- Activate "Human Detection" to filter out non-human movements and reduce false alarms.
- Enable "Autotracking" to allow the camera to automatically follow detected human subjects within its field of view.

5.4 Night Vision

5.5 Storage Options
Recordings can be stored locally or in the cloud.

6. Maintenance
