1. Important Safety Information
Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations, and specifications provided with this power tool attachment. Failure to follow all instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection when operating the chainsaw attachment.
- Ensure the electric drill is unplugged or its battery removed before performing any assembly, adjustment, or maintenance.
- Keep hands and body clear of the chain when the tool is in operation or connected to a power source.
- Do not operate the chainsaw attachment with one hand. Always use both hands to maintain control.
- Inspect the chain and guide bar for damage or wear before each use. Replace worn or damaged parts immediately.
- Maintain proper chain tension. A loose chain can derail and cause injury.
- Keep the work area clear of debris and bystanders.
- Do not use this attachment for large cuts beyond its intended capacity (e.g., felling large trees). It is designed for branch pruning, hedge pruning, seedling pruning, and timber cutting within its 6-inch guide plate capacity.

4. Operating Instructions
Once assembled and securely attached to your electric drill, the chainsaw attachment is ready for use. Always ensure you are wearing appropriate safety gear.
Operating the Chainsaw Attachment
- Grip: Hold the electric drill firmly with one hand and the auxiliary handle of the chainsaw attachment with the other. The detachable handle allows for flexible positioning to achieve a stable and comfortable grip.
- Start: Activate your electric drill. The chainsaw chain will begin to move.
- Cutting: Guide the moving chain gently into the material to be cut. Allow the chain to do the work; do not force it.
- Maintain Control: Always maintain a firm grip and stable stance. Be aware of kickback, which can occur if the tip of the guide bar touches an object or if the wood closes in and pinches the chain.
- Finish Cut: Once the cut is complete, release the drill trigger and wait for the chain to stop completely before moving the tool away from the workpiece.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your chainsaw attachment.
- Chain Tension: Before each use, check the chain tension. The chain must be tightened sufficiently to prevent it from coming off the guide bar, but not so tight that it binds. Adjust the screw to control the tightness as needed.
- Lubrication: The special guide plate and steel balls are designed to reduce resistance and wear without requiring external lubrication. However, regularly inspect the chain and guide bar for any signs of excessive friction or wear.
- Cleaning: After each use, disconnect the attachment from the drill and clean off any sawdust, debris, or resin from the chain, guide bar, and converter body. A brush or compressed air can be used.
- Storage: Store the attachment in a dry, clean place, out of reach of children.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Weytoll Electric Drill Chainsaw Attachment, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Chain not moving or moving slowly:
- Ensure the electric drill is functioning correctly and fully charged (if battery-powered).
- Check if the drill chuck is securely tightened onto the connecting shaft.
- Verify chain tension. A chain that is too tight can impede movement.
- Inspect the chain for damage or dullness. A dull chain will not cut effectively.
- Attachment feels loose or unstable:
- Re-check all assembly screws and ensure they are tightened.
- Ensure the auxiliary handle is firmly attached.
- Confirm the drill chuck is securely fastened to the attachment's shaft.
- Excessive vibration or noise:
- Check for proper chain tension.
- Inspect the chain and guide bar for any damage or misalignment.
- Ensure all components are correctly assembled and tightened.
