Setup

1. Filling the Water Tank

1. Ensure the steamer is unplugged from the power outlet.
2. Rotate the steaming head to the upright position (if not already).
3. Open the water tank cap located at the top of the handle.
4. Carefully fill the water tank with distilled or de-mineralized water. Do not overfill. The capacity is 70 milliliters.
5. Close the water tank cap securely.

2. Adjusting the Steaming Head

The steaming head can be rotated 90 degrees to switch between vertical (hanging iron) and horizontal (flat iron) modes. Gently twist the head to your desired position until it clicks into place.

3. Power Connection

Plug the 6ft power cord into a standard 100-120V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On and Heat-up

1. After filling the water tank and plugging in the steamer, press the power button.
2. The steamer will heat up rapidly, typically within 15 seconds. An indicator light will show when it's ready for use.

2. Steaming Garments

The Nesugar Model G2 can be used in two primary ways:

• Vertical Steaming (Hanging Iron): Hang your garment on a hanger. Hold the steamer vertically, keeping the steam plate close to the fabric but not touching it directly. Move the steamer in a downward motion over the wrinkles.
• Horizontal Steaming (Flat Iron): Lay your garment flat on a clean, heat-resistant surface. Rotate the steaming head to the horizontal position. Gently press the steam plate onto the fabric and glide it over the wrinkles.

For best results, pull the fabric taut with your free hand while steaming. The steamer is designed to work on a wide range of fabrics including cotton, chemical fiber, wool, linen, silk, and nylon.

Maintenance

1. Emptying the Water Tank

After each use, always unplug the steamer and allow it to cool down completely. Empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent mineral buildup and ensure hygiene.

2. Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For mineral buildup on the steam plate, gently wipe with a cloth dampened with a vinegar solution, then wipe clean with plain water.

3. Storage

Store the cooled and emptied steamer in the provided flannel storage bag. The included wall mount bracket and double-sided adhesive can be used to conveniently store the steamer on a wall, keeping it accessible and organized.
