3. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the main components of your robot vacuum cleaner.

4. Setup
4.1 Initial Charging
- Connect the power adapter to the robot vacuum's charging port.
- Plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
- Allow the robot to charge fully before first use. The indicator light will change to show a full charge (refer to Figure 3.2 for indicator lights).
4.2 Installing Side Brushes
- Turn the robot vacuum upside down.
- Align the side brushes with the square posts on the bottom of the robot.
- Press the brushes firmly until they click into place. Ensure both brushes are securely attached.
4.3 Installing the Dustbin and Filter
- Open the dustbin cover on the top of the robot (refer to Figure 3.1).
- Insert the filter into the dustbin.
- Place the dustbin into its compartment within the robot.
- Close the dustbin cover until it clicks.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Preparing the Cleaning Area
Before starting a cleaning cycle, ensure the area is free of obstacles that could entangle the robot, such as loose cables, small rugs, or delicate items. The robot is designed to navigate various floor types, including hard floors and low-pile carpets.

5.2 Starting a Cleaning Cycle
- Ensure the robot is fully charged and the power switch (usually located on the side or bottom) is in the "ON" position.
- Press the main power button on the top of the robot to start cleaning. The robot will begin its cleaning pattern.
- To pause cleaning, press the main power button again.
- To stop cleaning and return the robot to standby mode, press and hold the main power button for a few seconds.
5.3 Cleaning Modes
This model typically operates in an automatic cleaning mode, adapting its path to cover the area efficiently. Specific modes like edge cleaning or spot cleaning may be initiated by dedicated buttons if available on the device.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robot vacuum.
6.1 Emptying the Dustbin
- Press the dustbin release button or open the top cover to access the dustbin.
- Carefully remove the dustbin from the robot.
- Open the dustbin lid and empty its contents into a waste bin.
- Rinse the dustbin with water if necessary, ensuring it is completely dry before reinstallation.
6.2 Cleaning the Filter
- Remove the filter from the dustbin.
- Tap the filter gently over a waste bin to remove loose dust and debris.
- Use the provided cleaning tool (Figure 2.1) to brush off any remaining dirt.
- Do not wash the filter with water unless specified by the manufacturer. Replace the filter every 3-6 months, depending on usage.
6.3 Cleaning Side Brushes
- Turn the robot vacuum upside down.
- Gently pull the side brushes upwards to remove them.
- Remove any hair or debris tangled around the brushes or their posts.
- Reinstall the brushes by pressing them firmly onto their posts until they click.
6.4 Cleaning Sensors and Wheels
Periodically wipe the robot's sensors (cliff sensors, bumper sensors) and wheels with a dry, soft cloth to ensure proper operation and navigation.
