Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.
  • Water Resistance: The camera features an IPX-4 waterproof aluminum alloy shell, suitable for various outdoor conditions. However, it is not designed for submersion in water. Avoid exposing the USB port and SD card slot to moisture when the cap is open.

Troubleshooting

Camera does not power on or light flashes but no operation:
This often indicates an issue with the Micro SD card. Ensure the card is within the supported capacity (2-32GB) and is of good quality. Try reformatting the card or using a different, known-good card.
Poor video or photo quality:
Ensure the lens is clean and free from smudges or dust. Verify that you are recording in the desired resolution (1080P for best quality). Ensure sufficient lighting in the recording environment.
Battery not charging:
Check the USB cable and power source. Ensure the cable is securely connected to both the camera and the power adapter/computer. Try a different USB port or power adapter.
Camera not recognized by computer:
Ensure the camera is powered on when connected. Try a different USB port on your computer. Verify your computer's operating system meets the system requirements (Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7, OS X OS 10.3.6 or above).
