Introduction

Installation

1. Unpacking

Remove all packaging materials and transport bolts from the appliance before use. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children. The transport bolts are located at the rear of the machine.

2. Placement and Leveling

Place the washing machine on a flat, stable surface. Adjust the adjustable feet to ensure the appliance is perfectly level. Proper leveling prevents excessive vibration and noise during operation.

3. Water Connection

Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water tap with a 3/4" thread. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.

4. Drain Connection

The drain hose can be hooked into a sink or connected to a dedicated drain pipe. Ensure the hose is securely fastened and positioned to prevent siphoning.

5. Electrical Connection

Plug the appliance into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage and frequency match the specifications on the appliance's rating plate.

6. First Use

Before washing laundry for the first time, run a short cycle without laundry and detergent to clean the drum and remove any manufacturing residues.

Operation

1. Control Panel Overview

The control panel consists of a program selector dial, function buttons, and a display.

2. Loading Laundry

Open the washing machine door and load your laundry. Do not overload the machine; ensure there is enough space for the clothes to tumble freely. The maximum load capacity is 8 kg.

3. Adding Detergent

Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer located on the top left of the control panel. Add the appropriate amount of detergent and fabric softener to the designated compartments.

4. Program Selection

Turn the program selector dial to choose the desired wash program. The machine offers a variety of programs for different fabric types and soil levels:

  • Rapid Cycles: Quick 30 minutes, Cotton 59 minutes, Mixed Colored 59 minutes, Synthetics 59 minutes, Express 20 minutes.
  • Traditional Cycles: Cotton, Synthetics, Whites, Daily 30, Mixed 30, Eco 40-60, 20°C.
  • Special Cycles: Rinse & Spin, Silk, Wool, Coloreds, Sport.

5. Option Selection

After selecting a program, you can customize it using the option buttons:

  • Variable Spin Speed: Adjust the spin speed up to 1200 rpm.
  • Rapid: Shortens the wash cycle duration.
  • Extra Rinse: Adds an additional rinse cycle.
  • Energy Saver: Optimizes energy consumption.
  • Extra Wash: Enhances washing performance for heavily soiled items.
  • Temperature: Adjusts the wash temperature.
  • Delay Start: Delays the start of the wash cycle.

6. Starting a Wash Cycle

Press the Start/Pause button to begin the selected wash cycle. The display will show the remaining time.

7. Interrupting or Changing a Cycle

To interrupt a cycle, press the Start/Pause button. To change a program, turn the program selector dial to the new program. The machine will drain the water if necessary before starting the new program.

8. End of Cycle

At the end of the cycle, the machine will signal completion. Open the door and remove your laundry promptly to prevent wrinkles and odors.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your washing machine.

1. Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser

Periodically remove and clean the detergent dispenser drawer under running water to prevent detergent buildup.

2. Cleaning the Drum

Run a maintenance wash cycle (e.g., a hot cycle with no laundry and a descaling agent) regularly to clean the drum and prevent odors.

3. Cleaning the Drain Filter

The drain filter should be cleaned regularly to remove lint and small objects that may clog it. Refer to the diagram below for the filter location.

  1. Place a shallow container under the filter cover to catch any residual water.
  2. Carefully open the filter cover.
  3. Unscrew the filter counter-clockwise and remove it.
  4. Clean the filter under running water.
  5. Reinsert the filter and screw it clockwise until tight. Close the cover.

4. Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe the exterior of the washing machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
