1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Shark Stratos Upright Vacuum. This manual provides essential information for the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new vacuum cleaner. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance and keep it for future reference.

2. Important Safety Instructions
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be observed, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using this vacuum cleaner.
- Always unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet before cleaning or servicing the vacuum.

- Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.

- Do not use with a damaged cord or plug. If the appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to SharkNinja Operating LLC for service.
- Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
- Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
- Do not handle plug or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
- Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
- Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
- Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
- Do not use without dust cup and/or filters in place.
- Turn off all controls before unplugging.
- Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
3. Setup and Assembly
Your Shark Stratos Upright Vacuum comes with several components that are easy to assemble.
- Insert the wand into the nozzle until it clicks securely.
- Slide the pod onto the wand until it locks into place.
- Attach the handle to the top of the wand, ensuring it clicks.
- Connect the hose to the back of the pod.
- Store the included accessories on the onboard storage posts.


4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power and Mode Selection
Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The vacuum features fingertip controls on the handle for easy mode selection:
- Hard Floor: For bare floors and delicate area rugs.
- Carpet/Low Pile: For low-pile carpets and general carpet cleaning.
- Thick Carpet/Area Rug: For high-pile carpets and thick area rugs.

4.2 DuoClean PowerFins HairPro Technology
The DuoClean PowerFins HairPro nozzle features two brushrolls that work in tandem. The soft front roller pulls in large debris and fine dust, while the PowerFins provide continuous contact with carpets and floors for deep cleaning and hair pickup without hair wrap.


4.3 Powered Lift-Away Mode
For versatile cleaning, detach the pod from the nozzle to clean under furniture, or detach the wand and handle for extended reach above the floor.




4.4 Odor Neutralizer Technology
The integrated Odor Neutralizer Technology guards against unpleasant odors inside your vacuum, helping to freshen your home as you clean. Ensure the odor neutralizer cartridge is properly installed.

5.1 Easy-Empty Dust Cup
The removable dust cup is designed for easy emptying. Simply press the release button to detach it and empty all debris without touching the mess.

5.2 Filter Maintenance
The Anti-Allergen Complete Seal system with HEPA filtration traps 99.9% of dust and allergens. Regularly clean or replace filters as recommended to maintain optimal suction and filtration performance.

5.3 Self-Cleaning Brushroll
The self-cleaning brushroll is designed to prevent hair wrap. Periodically check the brushroll for any debris and remove if necessary to ensure continuous powerful performance.
