5. Installation Instructions

  4. Connect Wires: This receptacle supports side pressure plate connections and back wire clamps.
    • Ground Wire (Green or Bare Copper): Connect to the green grounding screw on the receptacle.
    • Hot Wires (Black or Red): Connect to the brass-colored screws.
    • Neutral Wires (White): Connect to the silver-colored screws.

    For side pressure plate connections, insert the stripped wire end directly into the opening next to the screw and tighten the screw firmly. For back wire clamps, insert the stripped wire into the designated clamp opening and tighten the screw.
