4. Setup
4.1. Powering the Device
The GE100 can be powered by either a DC 9V adapter or 4 AA batteries.

Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment cover on the underside of the pedal and insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Maximum operating time depends on battery type and usage.
Adapter Connection: Connect the DC 9V adapter to the DC 9V input jack on the rear of the unit. Use only the specified power adapter to avoid damage.
4.2. Connecting Your Gear
The GE100 offers various input and output options for seamless integration with your existing setup.

- INPUT Jack: Connect your guitar to this 1/4" mono audio jack.
- OUTPUT Jack: Connect this 1/4" stereo audio jack to your amplifier or headphones.
- AUX IN Jack: Connect an external audio player (e.g., MP3 player) to this 1/8" stereo jack for playing along with backing tracks.

5. Operating the Device
5.1. Controls Overview
The GE100 features an intuitive layout with various knobs and footswitches for easy navigation and effect control.

- MODE Selector: Rotates to select different effect modules.
- VALUE Knob with ENTER Button: Rotates to adjust parameter values and presses to confirm selections.
- LCD Display: Shows current patch, effect settings, and other information.
- Footswitches: Used for patch selection, looper control, and tuner activation.
- Expression Pedal: Assignable to control various parameters like volume or wah.
5.2. Effects Modules and Presets
The GE100 boasts 8 effect modules and 66 effect types, offering a vast sound library. It comes with 80 factory preset patches and allows for 80 user patches to save your customized tones.

Simply rotate the MODE selector knob to navigate through different effect modules (FX, DS, AMP, NS, EQ, MOD, DLY, REV). Use the VALUE knob to adjust parameters within each module. Press the SAVE button to store your preferred tones.
5.3. Looper and Drum Machine
The built-in 180-second looper and drum machine with 40 rhythm patterns allow for creative practice and performance without external devices.
Use the LOOP footswitch to control recording, playback, and overdubbing. The RHYTHM button activates the drum machine, and the VALUE knob can be used to select different patterns and adjust tempo.
5.4. Scale and Chord Learning Function
The GE100 includes a dedicated LESSION button to access a scale and chord learning interface, providing a valuable tool for music theory and practice.

5.5. Tuner
The integrated tuner allows for quick and accurate tuning of your guitar. Hold down the ON/OFF footswitch to activate the tuner mode.
