Setup Guide

1. Powering the Main Display Unit

2. Setting Up the Wireless Outdoor Sensor

  1. Open the battery cover on the back of the outdoor sensor.
  2. Insert 2 AAA batteries, observing polarity.
  3. Select a channel (1, 2, or 3) using the small switch inside the battery compartment. This allows for multiple sensors if purchased separately.
  4. Close the battery cover securely.

3. Pairing and Synchronization

Ensure both the main unit and the outdoor sensor are powered on within 3 minutes. The main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor signal. A signal strength indicator will appear on the display once connected.

Operating Instructions

1. Display Overview

  • Moon Phase: Displays the current moon phase.
  • Comfort Level: Indicates indoor comfort (HUMID, GOOD, DRY).

2. Button Functions

  • SNOOZE/LIGHT: Short press to adjust backlight levels (3 levels). Long press to activate snooze function when alarm rings.
  • CHANNEL: Short press to switch between outdoor sensor channels. Long press to search for outdoor sensor signal.
  • UP/DOWN: Used to adjust values in setting mode or switch between Celsius/Fahrenheit (°C/°F) and 12/24 hour format.
  • ALERTS: Short press to check temperature alert settings. Long press to enter temperature alert setting mode.
  • ALARM: Short press to enable/disable alarm. Long press to enter alarm setting mode.

3. Setting Time and Date

  1. Press and hold the "MODE" button until the time display flashes.
  2. Use the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to adjust the hour, then press "MODE" to confirm and move to minutes.
  3. Continue this process for year, month, and day.
  4. The atomic clock (WWVB receiver) automatically synchronizes time and date at 1:00 AM daily. To manually initiate synchronization, long press the "DOWN" key.

4. Temperature Unit Selection

Short press the "UP" button to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) display for temperature readings.

5. Weather Forecast Function

6. Backlight Adjustment

When powered by the adapter, short press "SNOOZE/LIGHT" to cycle through 3 backlight levels (High, Medium, Low). When powered by batteries, the backlight will turn off after 8 seconds to conserve power. It can be reactivated by voice control (clapping, tapping) or by pressing any button.

Maintenance

  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both the main unit and outdoor sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Ensure correct polarity.
  • Cleaning: Wipe the display and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals.
  • Sensor Care: Periodically check the outdoor sensor for debris or moisture accumulation, especially in the battery compartment. Ensure it remains dry and protected from extreme weather.

Troubleshooting
