- The machine has an accuracy of ±1mm for cutting length.

Figure 7: Cutting Precision.
Operating Modes
The JF-7000 supports multiple operating modes:

Figure 8: Operating Mode Displays.
- Automatic Mode:
In this mode, the machine automatically dispenses and cuts the next piece of tape once the previous piece is removed from the outlet. To activate, press the AUTO/MANU button until "AUTO" is indicated on the display.
- Manual Mode:
In Manual mode, each tape cut requires a press of the START button. To activate, press the AUTO/MANU button until "MANU" is indicated on the display.
- Counting Mode:
This mode allows you to set a specific quantity of tape pieces to be cut (up to 999). The display will show the remaining count. After each piece is removed, the count decreases by 1. The machine stops once the set quantity is reached. To set, use the SELECT button to navigate to the counting function, then use +/- to set the desired quantity.
- Continuous Cutting Mode:
Ideal for non-adhesive tapes, this mode allows continuous cutting of up to 999 pieces without stopping until all pieces are cut. To activate, use the SELECT button to navigate to this mode.
Preset Lengths (Memory Function)
The JF-7000 can store and recall up to six different cutting lengths (A, B, C, D, E, F).

Figure 9: Preset Lengths.
- To set a preset: Select the desired preset slot (A-F) using the SELECT button. Adjust the length using the +/- buttons. The machine will automatically save this setting.
- To recall a preset: Simply use the SELECT button to cycle through the presets until the desired one is displayed.
Cutting Two Rolls Simultaneously
The machine supports cutting two rolls of tape at the same time, provided their combined width does not exceed 60mm (2.3 inches).

Figure 10: Dual Roll Capacity.
Load both tape rolls onto the tape holder, ensuring they are properly aligned and the combined width is within the specified limit. The machine will cut both tapes to the set length simultaneously.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your tape dispenser.
- Cleaning the Blade Unit:
Over time, adhesive residue can accumulate on the blade. To clean:
- Turn off and unplug the machine.
- Locate the blade unit release lever on the bottom of the machine (refer to Figure 3). Depress the lever and carefully remove the blade unit.
- Use a soft cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol or a specialized adhesive remover to clean the blades and surrounding areas.
- Ensure the blade unit is completely dry before reinserting it.
- Cleaning the Feed Rollers:
The silicone feed wheel (an upgrade from the JF-3000's plastic roller) is designed for durability and better grip on strong adhesive tapes. Clean it regularly to prevent tape slippage.

Figure 12: JF-7000 vs. JF-3000 Key Differences.
Use a damp cloth to wipe down the silicone feed wheel and other rollers. For stubborn adhesive, use a small amount of adhesive remover. Ensure rollers are dry before use.
- Lubrication:
Periodically apply a small amount of lubricating silicone oil to the designated port (refer to Figure 3) to ensure smooth operation of internal mechanisms.
- General Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris.
Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your JF-7000 tape dispenser.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine does not power on. | Power cord not connected; Power switch is OFF; No power from outlet. | Ensure power cord is securely plugged in. Turn power switch ON. Check outlet with another device. |
| Tape is not feeding. | Tape not loaded correctly; Roller lock lever is up; Feed rollers are dirty/slippery; Tape jam. | Re-load tape, ensuring it's under the hold down roller. Lower the roller lock lever. Clean feed rollers. Check for tape jams and clear carefully with tweezers. |
| Tape is not cutting cleanly. | Blade is dirty or dull; Incorrect tape type for settings. | Clean the blade unit (refer to Maintenance section). If blade is dull, contact support for replacement. Ensure tape is compatible. |
| Machine cuts incorrect length. | Length setting is incorrect; Sensor is obstructed. | Verify and adjust the cutting length setting on the control panel. Clean the sensor area. |
| Tape jams frequently. | Tape quality; Rollers are dirty; Blade is dirty; Tape width/thickness issue. | Try a different brand/type of tape. Clean rollers and blade unit. Ensure tape width is within 6-60mm range. |
