3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Remove all packaging materials, including foam and adhesive tape.
- Place the refrigerator on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation space around the appliance (at least 10 cm on sides and back, 30 cm above).
- Avoid placing the refrigerator in direct sunlight or near heat sources like stoves or heaters.
- Allow the appliance to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before connecting it to power. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
3.2 Initial Cleaning
Before first use, clean the interior and exterior of the refrigerator with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
3.3 Power Connection
Connect the refrigerator to a dedicated, properly grounded electrical outlet (240V). Do not use extension cords or adapters.
3.4 Reversible Door Installation
The door of this refrigerator can be reversed to open from either the left or right side, depending on your space requirements. This procedure should be performed by a qualified technician or by carefully following the detailed instructions provided in a separate guide (if applicable) or by contacting customer support. Ensure the appliance is unplugged before attempting to reverse the door.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Temperature Control
The refrigerator features an adjustable thermostat with 5 settings, allowing you to control the internal temperature between 0°C and 10°C. The dial is typically located inside the refrigerator compartment, near the freezer section.
- Turn the thermostat dial to the desired setting. Higher numbers (e.g., 5) indicate colder temperatures, while lower numbers (e.g., 1) indicate warmer temperatures.
- Setting "0" will turn off the cooling function.
- Adjust the temperature based on the ambient room temperature and the amount of food stored.

4.2 Food Storage Guidelines
- Store fresh foods in sealed containers or wrapped to prevent drying out and odor transfer.
- The crisper drawer is ideal for fruits and vegetables.
- The freezer compartment is suitable for short-term storage of pre-frozen items or making ice.
- Do not place hot food directly into the refrigerator; allow it to cool to room temperature first.
- Avoid overloading the shelves to ensure proper air circulation.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Defrosting
This refrigerator features manual defrosting. Frost will accumulate on the inner walls of the freezer compartment. When the frost layer reaches about 3-5 mm thick, it should be defrosted.
- Unplug the refrigerator from the power outlet.
- Remove all food items from the freezer and refrigerator compartments and store them in a cool place.
- Leave the door open to allow the frost to melt naturally. You can place towels at the bottom to absorb water.
- Do not use sharp objects or heating devices to speed up defrosting, as this can damage the appliance.
- Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior thoroughly before plugging the appliance back in and returning food.

5.2 Cleaning
- Regularly clean the interior and exterior surfaces with a mild detergent and warm water.
- Wipe down door seals to ensure they remain clean and maintain a tight seal.
- Clean the condenser coils at the back of the refrigerator periodically (e.g., every 6-12 months) to maintain efficiency. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner.
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
6. Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer service, please check the following common issues and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Refrigerator does not operate. | No power, plug loose, circuit breaker tripped. | Check power supply, ensure plug is secure, reset circuit breaker. |
| Refrigerator is not cold enough. | Temperature setting too high, door opened frequently, warm food placed inside, poor ventilation. | Adjust thermostat to a colder setting, minimize door openings, allow hot food to cool, ensure adequate space around the unit. |
| Excessive noise. | Appliance not level, objects touching the back, normal compressor operation. | Adjust leveling feet, move objects away from the unit, some noise from compressor is normal. |
| Water dripping from freezer. | Ice buildup in freezer, drain hole blocked, tray not positioned correctly. | Perform manual defrosting. Check if the drip tray (if present) is correctly aligned to catch melting ice. Ensure the drain hole is clear. |
| Door does not close properly. | Door gasket dirty or damaged, appliance not level, food obstructing closure. | Clean or replace door gasket, level the appliance, rearrange food items. |
