Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the air fryer and its accessories.
- Initial Cleaning: Wash the frying basket and crisper plate with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the interior and exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth.
- Placement: Place the air fryer on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, ensuring at least 5 inches (13 cm) of space behind and above the unit for proper air circulation.
- First Use (Optional): It is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to eliminate any manufacturing odors. A slight smell may be present during this process, which is normal.
Operating Instructions
Basic Operation:
- Prepare Food: Place ingredients into the frying basket. Do not overfill.
- Insert Basket: Slide the frying basket securely into the air fryer.
- Power On: Plug the air fryer into a grounded electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.
- Select Function:
- Preset: Select one of the 10 customizable cooking presets by tapping the corresponding icon on the digital display.
- Manual: Adjust temperature and time manually using the temperature and time control buttons.
- Preheat (Optional): For best results, use the Preheat function before adding food. Tap the Preheat icon, adjust temperature if needed, and press Start.
- Start Cooking: Press the Start/Pause button to begin the cooking cycle.
- Shake Reminder: If a preset includes a shake reminder, the air fryer will beep and display a "SHAKE" icon. Carefully remove the basket, shake the food, and reinsert the basket to resume cooking.
- Keep Warm: After cooking, the Keep Warm function can be activated to maintain food temperature.
- Finish: Once cooking is complete, the air fryer will beep. Carefully remove the basket and transfer food to a serving dish.
Using the VeSync App (for Smart Models):
For models with smart functionality, the VeSync app allows for remote monitoring and control.
- Download the free VeSync app from your smartphone's app store.
- Follow the in-app instructions to pair your COSORI Air Fryer with your device.
- Once connected, you can remotely start/stop cooking, adjust settings, and monitor progress.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air fryer.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Frying Basket and Crisper Plate:
- These components are dishwasher-safe.
- Alternatively, wash with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn food residue, soak in warm water for 10-15 minutes.
- Ensure they are completely dry before reassembling.
- Interior: Wipe the interior with a damp cloth or non-abrasive sponge. For baked-on grease, use a mild dish soap and a soft brush.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Heating Element: Gently clean the heating element with a soft brush to remove any food particles.
Caution: Never immerse the main unit of the air fryer in water or any other liquid.
