4. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
  2. Placement: Place the main unit on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the unit's power socket and then to a 220V power outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting.
  4. Fluid Preparation:
    • Ultrasonic Cleaning Fluid: Pour a cleaning agent specifically designed for automotive engine carbon deposits into the ultrasonic cleaning tank. Do not overfill.
    • Testing Fluid: Pour a specialized fuel injector testing fluid into the main reservoir. If unavailable, medical alcohol with a concentration of 75% or higher can be used, but it is not the optimal solution. Use the provided funnel to prevent spills. Observe the testing agent liquid level indicator on the side of the unit.
  5. Injector Installation for Cleaning:
    • Connect the injector adapter cables to the injectors.
    • Place the injectors into the cleaning bracket within the ultrasonic cleaning tank. Ensure the injectors are submerged in the cleaning fluid.
  6. Injector Installation for Testing:
    • Attach the appropriate top oil inlet connectors to the injectors.
    • Secure the injectors onto the oil rail.
    • Mount the oil rail assembly onto the main unit, ensuring the injectors are positioned above the glass measuring cylinders.

5.1. Ultrasonic Cleaning

  1. Ensure injectors are installed in the ultrasonic cleaning tank and submerged in cleaning fluid.
  2. Turn on the main power switch.
  3. Press the 'Ultrasonic Cleaning' function button (Function 1).
  4. If desired, activate the heating function by pressing the 'Heating Switch' to heat the cleaning fluid up to 45 degrees Celsius for enhanced cleaning.
  5. Adjust the cleaning time using the control panel.
  6. Press Start to begin the ultrasonic cleaning cycle.
  7. After cleaning, turn off the unit and drain the cleaning fluid using the 'Cleaning Agent Drain Valve'.

5.2. Injector Testing Functions

The unit provides various testing modes to evaluate injector performance:

  • Idle Speed Test (Function 2): Simulates engine idle conditions.
  • Medium Speed Test (Function 3): Simulates medium engine speeds.
  • High Speed Test (Function 4): Simulates high engine speeds.
  • Accelerating Test (Function 5): Simulates rapid acceleration.
  • Variable Speed Test (Function 6): Simulates varying engine speeds.
  • Leakage Test (Function 7): Checks for fuel leaks from the injectors.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Fluid Management

  • Cleaning Fluid: Use a cleaning agent specifically designed for automotive engine carbon deposits for ultrasonic cleaning.
  • Testing Fluid: Use a specialized injector testing fluid. If not available, medical alcohol with a concentration of 75% or higher can be used, but it is not the optimal solution.
  • Draining Fluids: After use, drain both cleaning and testing fluids using their respective drain valves.

6.2. Oil Pump Replacement

If the oil pump needs replacement, follow these steps:

  1. Use a screwdriver or Allen wrench to open the side panel on the rear of the device.
  2. Disconnect the oil pump connection cable, connection pipe, and fixing screws.
  3. Remove the old oil pump.
  4. Replace it with a new one, ensuring the hose and connection cable are securely reconnected.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Issue: Leakage during testing.
Cause: Using the wrong test fluid. Corrosive liquids can cause rubber seals inside the equipment to corrode and expand, leading to leaks. In severe cases, the oil pump may also be damaged, resulting in no pressure and no fuel injection.
Solution: Always use a special injector testing fluid or medical alcohol (75%+ concentration). Do not add cleaning fluid to the glass tubes for testing.
  • Issue: No pressure or no fuel injection.
Cause: Damaged oil pump, potentially due to using incorrect fluids.
Solution: Inspect the oil pump. If damaged, replace it following the instructions in Section 6.2. Ensure only recommended fluids are used.
  • Issue: Unit does not power on.
Cause: Power cable not properly connected, power switch off, or power outlet issue.
Solution: Check power cable connection, ensure power switch is ON, and test the power outlet with another device.
  • Issue: Ineffective cleaning.
Cause: Insufficient cleaning fluid, incorrect cleaning agent, or short cleaning time.
Solution: Ensure injectors are fully submerged, use a specialized carbon deposit cleaning agent, and increase ultrasonic cleaning time or activate the heating function.
