Understanding the LED Display

Operating Instructions
Jump Starting a Vehicle
Follow these steps to safely jump start your vehicle:
- Prepare the Vehicle: Ensure the vehicle is in PARK (automatic) or NEUTRAL (manual) and the parking brake is engaged. Turn off all accessories (headlights, radio, AC, etc.).
- Connect Jumper Cables:
- Connect the red (positive, +) clamp to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Connect the black (negative, -) clamp to the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Ensure the battery terminals are free of corrosion.
- Connect to Jump Starter: Plug the jumper cable connector into the jump starter's insulated port.
- Check Display: The LED display should show "READY" solid. If it blinks, the battery voltage is very low, and you may need to press the "BOOST" button (refer to troubleshooting).
- Start Vehicle: Once "READY" is solid, start your vehicle's engine.
- Disconnect: After the vehicle starts, immediately disconnect the jumper cables from the jump starter, then from the vehicle battery (negative first, then positive).
