Welcome to your new OLIXIS Drafting Chair. This manual provides detailed instructions for assembly, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure you get the most comfortable and ergonomic experience from your chair. Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly and use.
2. Safety Information
Please observe the following safety guidelines to prevent injury or damage to the product:
- Maximum Weight Capacity: This chair is designed to support up to 270 pounds (122 kg). Do not exceed this limit to prevent damage or injury.
- Assembly: Follow all assembly steps precisely as outlined in this manual. Ensure all screws and bolts are tightened securely before use.

4. Assembly Instructions
Assembly typically takes 20 minutes. Follow these steps carefully. An installation video is also available on the product page.
- Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the 5-star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
- Insert the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the 5-star base. Place the foot ring over the gas lift cylinder and secure it at your desired height using the knob.
- Attach the mechanism plate to the underside of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure the "FRONT" arrow on the mechanism points towards the front of the seat.
- Attach the armrests to the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure they are securely fastened.
- Attach the backrest to the seat cushion/mechanism plate assembly using the remaining screws.
- Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, aligning the center hole of the mechanism plate with the top of the gas lift.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Height Adjustment
To adjust the chair's height, pull the lever located under the right side of the seat upwards. While holding the lever, stand up to raise the chair or remain seated to lower it. Release the lever at the desired height.

5.2. Tilt/Rocking Function
To enable the rocking function, pull the same lever (under the right side of the seat) outwards. To lock the backrest in an upright position, push the lever inwards.
5.3. Tilt Tension Adjustment
The knob located under the front-center of the seat controls the tilt tension. Turn it clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) or counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

5.4. Foot Ring Adjustment
The foot ring can be adjusted vertically to provide optimal foot support. Loosen the knob on the side of the foot ring, slide it to the desired height, and then tighten the knob securely.

6. Maintenance

- Cleaning: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

- Casters: Clean casters regularly to remove dust and debris that may hinder smooth rolling.
- Mesh Backrest: The breathable mesh can be gently wiped down. Avoid excessive scrubbing.
