Setup and Installation

This lamp post requires hardwired installation into a concrete base. Ensure the power is OFF at the circuit breaker before proceeding.

  1. Prepare the Base: Ensure you have a stable concrete base for mounting. The product includes a template card for accurate positioning of anchor bolts, which should be 7.68 inches apart. The concrete base should be at least 24-36 inches deep.
  2. Mount the Post Base: Secure the post base to the concrete using the provided anchor bolts and cap nuts. The supply wire should extend 5-10 inches out from the base.
  3. Assemble the Column: Thread the bottom column onto the post base, then the middle column, and finally the top column. Secure with machine screws as indicated in the diagram.
  4. Install the Lamp Head Assembly: Attach the lamp head assembly to the top column.
  5. Wiring: Connect the supply wire from the lamp post to your main power supply. Follow local electrical codes. Ensure all connections are tight and properly insulated.
  6. Install Bulbs: Insert three E26 base bulbs (max 100W each, not included) into the lamp sockets.
  7. Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions

This lamp post features a built-in dusk to dawn sensor for automatic operation.

  • Automatic On/Off: The integrated high-sensitivity sensor detects ambient light levels. The light fixture will automatically turn on at dusk when it gets dark and turn off at dawn when it becomes light.
  • Manual Override: There is no manual override switch for the dusk to dawn sensor. The operation is fully automatic based on light detection.
