2. Safety Instructions
Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage to the appliance:
- Ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet when not in use, before cleaning, or if a malfunction occurs.
- Exercise extreme caution when handling hot liquids or steam. Use oven mitts or heat-resistant gloves.
- The appliance features overheat protection, which automatically shuts off the unit if it gets too hot or runs dry. If this occurs, unplug the unit and allow it to cool before restarting.
- Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any way.

4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and check for any damage. Keep packaging for future storage or transport.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the pot and all accessories with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Placement: Place the appliance on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface, away from walls or other heat-sensitive objects. Ensure adequate ventilation.
- Insert Grid: Place the removable grid insert at the bottom of the pot. This prevents jars from direct contact with the heating element.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the appliance's requirements (220-240V, 50/60Hz).
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Preserving Food
- Prepare Jars: Fill your preserving jars with food and seal them according to standard preserving guidelines.
- Load Jars: Place the filled and sealed jars onto the grid insert inside the preserving machine. The 28L capacity can accommodate up to 14 standard 1-liter jars.
- Add Water: Pour water into the pot until the jars are covered by approximately 2/3 to 3/4 of their height. Ensure the water level does not exceed the 'MAX' mark inside the pot.
- Set Temperature: Close the lid. Turn the temperature control knob to the desired preserving temperature (range 30-110°C) as specified by your recipe.
- Start Heating: Switch the appliance ON using the main power switch. The 'Heating' indicator light will illuminate.
- Monitor Process: Once the set temperature is reached, the 'Heating' light may cycle on and off to maintain the temperature. Begin timing your preserving process according to your recipe.
- Completion: After the preserving time is complete, switch the appliance OFF and unplug it. Allow the jars to cool inside the pot or carefully remove them using the jar tongs.

5.2. Dispensing Hot Beverages
- Fill Pot: Pour your desired beverage (e.g., mulled wine, punch, tea, coffee) into the pot. Ensure the liquid level does not exceed the 'MAX' mark.
- Set Temperature: Close the lid. Turn the temperature control knob to the desired serving temperature. For keeping warm, a lower temperature setting is sufficient.
- Start Heating: Switch the appliance ON. The 'Heating' indicator light will illuminate.
- Serve: Once the beverage reaches the desired temperature, it can be dispensed directly from the integrated tap. The 'Keep Warm' function will maintain the temperature.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your appliance.
- Safety First: Always switch off the appliance, unplug it from the power outlet, and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Emptying: Use the integrated drain tap to empty any remaining liquid from the pot.
- Interior Cleaning: Clean the interior of the pot with warm soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth. For stubborn residues, a non-abrasive cleaner suitable for stainless steel can be used. Rinse thoroughly.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can damage the surface.
- Tap Cleaning: Ensure the tap is clean and free of blockages. Run warm water through it after each use.
- Descaling: Depending on water hardness and frequency of use, descaling may be necessary. Use a commercial descaling agent suitable for kitchen appliances, following the product's instructions.
