1. Introduction

The COLBOR CL60 is a compact and powerful 65W COB LED video light designed for various photography and videography applications, including filming, live streaming, and interviews. It features adjustable color temperature from 2700K to 6500K, high color rendering (CRI 97+), and multiple special lighting effects. Its unique PowerCube design allows for modular stacking, and it supports APP control for enhanced functionality.

3. Setup

3.1 Attaching the Bowens Mount Reflector

1. Align the Bowens mount reflector with the front of the CL60 video light.
2. Twist the reflector clockwise until it locks securely into place.

3.2 Mounting the Light

The CL60 can be mounted on a standard light stand using the quick-mount holder. It also features slide rails for modular stacking with other CL60 units.

1. Attach the quick-mount holder to the bottom of the CL60 light.
2. Secure the quick-mount holder onto a light stand.
3. For modular setups, slide additional CL60 units onto the side rails of an existing unit until they click into place.

3.3 Power Connection

The CL60 supports multiple power options:

• AC Power: Connect the provided power adapter to the Type-C port on the light and plug it into a wall outlet.
• PD Power Banks: Use a PD (Power Delivery) compatible power bank with an output greater than 65W.
• V-Mount/NP-F Batteries: Utilize compatible V-mount or NP-F batteries with an appropriate adapter (sold separately).

4. Operation

4.1 Basic Controls

The CL60 features an intuitive control panel on the back of the unit.

• Power Button: Press to turn the light on or off.
• DIM/Brightness Knob: Rotate to adjust brightness from 0% to 100%.
• CCT/Color Temperature Knob: Rotate to adjust color temperature from 2700K (warm) to 6500K (cool).
• SET Button: Press to confirm selections or enter menu options.
• EFF Button: Access special lighting effects modes.

4.2 Special Lighting Effects

The CL60 includes 10 built-in lighting effects and 46 special light effect modes. Press the EFF button to cycle through and select desired effects such as Fire, CCT Chase, Pulsing, TV, Explosion, Faulty Bulb, Welding, Strobe, Lightning, and SOS.

4.3 APP Control (COLBOR Studio)

Download the COLBOR Studio APP to control the CL60 remotely via Bluetooth. The app allows for individual light adjustment, as well as matrix control for up to 10 lights simultaneously.

1. Download the COLBOR Studio app from your device's app store.
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
3. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your CL60 light(s).
4. Adjust brightness, color temperature, and special effects directly from the app.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and longevity, keep the CL60 clean.

• Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the light.
• For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water; avoid harsh chemicals.
• Ensure the COB protective cover is in place when not in use to prevent dust accumulation on the LED chip.

5.2 Cooling System

The CL60 features a noiseless cooling system with aluminum material for efficient heat dissipation. Ensure the ventilation openings are not obstructed during operation.

If you encounter issues with your COLBOR CL60, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Light does not turn on:
  • Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the light and a working power outlet.
  • If using a power bank, verify it is PD compatible and has sufficient charge and output (over 65W).
  • Check the power button for proper engagement.
• Light output is inconsistent or flickers:
  • Confirm the power source is stable and providing adequate power.
  • Check for any loose connections in the power cable.
  • Ensure the light is not overheating; clear any obstructions from the ventilation.
• APP control not working:
  • Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device and the CL60.
  • Ensure the COLBOR Studio app is updated to the latest version.
  • Try restarting both the light and your mobile device.
  • If controlling multiple lights, ensure they are within Bluetooth range.
• Abnormal noise from the fan:
  • While the cooling system is designed to be quiet (less than 20dB in quiet mode), persistent or loud noise may indicate an issue. Contact customer support if the noise is excessive or unusual.
