Product Overview

The Sealy 3M Scotchgard Heated Mattress Pad is designed to provide enhanced comfort and warmth for a restful sleep. This King size mattress pad features a quilted cotton exterior treated with 3M Scotchgard Moisture Wicking Additive for efficient humidity management. It includes a dual controller with 10 heat settings and a programmable 1-12 hour auto shut-off function, ensuring personalized comfort and safety. Setup Instructions

1. Unpack the Mattress Pad: Carefully remove the heated mattress pad and its components from the packaging. Ensure all parts, including the mattress pad and controllers, are present and undamaged.
2. Position the Mattress Pad: Place the heated mattress pad directly on top of your mattress. Ensure the fitted skirt fully covers the sides of your mattress. The deep 17-inch elastic pocket is designed to fit securely on various mattress depths.
3. Connect the Controllers: For King size pads, there are two controllers. Locate the connection ports at the foot of the mattress pad. Firmly plug each controller's cord into its respective port on the mattress pad. Ensure a secure connection.
4. Plug into Power Outlet: Route the power cords from the controllers to a nearby electrical outlet. Plug both power cords into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. Avoid using extension cords.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Press the power button on the controller to turn the mattress pad on or off. The LCD screen will illuminate when powered on.
2. Adjust Heat Settings: Use the "HEAT +" and "HEAT -" buttons to select your desired heat level from 1 to 10.
3. Preheat Function: Press the "PREHEAT" button to quickly warm the mattress pad. This feature applies full power for approximately 20 minutes to reach your desired temperature faster.
4. Set Auto Shut-Off Timer: Use the "TIME +" and "TIME -" buttons to set the auto shut-off timer from 1 to 12 hours. The pad will automatically turn off after the selected duration.
5. Dual Control (King Size): Each controller operates independently, allowing you and your partner to customize your individual heat zones without affecting the other side.

Maintenance

Cleaning Instructions

The Sealy Heated Mattress Pad is machine washable for easy care.

1. Disconnect Power: Always unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and disconnect the controller(s) from the mattress pad before cleaning.
2. Machine Wash: Place the mattress pad into a washing machine. Wash on a gentle cycle with cold water (under 30°C / 86°F). Use a mild detergent.
3. Rinse Thoroughly: Ensure the mattress pad is thoroughly rinsed to remove all detergent residue.
4. Gentle Drying: Tumble dry on a low heat setting. Alternatively, air dry by laying flat or hanging. Ensure the pad is completely dry before reconnecting to power.

Important Cautions:

• DO NOT DRY CLEAN.
• DO NOT BLEACH.
• DO NOT IRON.
• Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Ensure the mattress pad and connectors are completely dry before plugging in.

Troubleshooting

• No Heat/Power:
  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Verify that the controller cord is firmly connected to the mattress pad.
  • Check if the power button on the controller is pressed and the display is active.
  • If using a power strip, ensure it is turned on and functioning.
• Uneven Heating:
  • Ensure the mattress pad is laid flat and not bunched or folded, which can impede heat distribution.
  • Confirm that the heat setting is appropriate for your desired warmth.
• Controller Display Not Working:
  • Unplug the unit from the wall for 5 minutes, then plug it back in to reset the controller.
  • If the issue persists, contact customer support.
