2. Important Safety Information

• Do not use with an infant, a child, an incapacitated person, a paraplegic, a quadriplegic, a diabetic, a person insensitive to heat, or anyone who cannot clearly understand the instructions and/or operate the controls.
• Do not use with a person who is asleep or unconscious.
• Do not use in an oxygen-enriched environment or near equipment that stores or emits oxygen.
• Do not use pins or other metallic objects with this product. They may damage the wiring.
• Do not use if the mattress pad is wet.
• Do not use until the product is completely dry after washing.
• Do not dry clean. Dry cleaning solvents may damage the insulation of the heating element.
• Do not bleach. Bleaching agents may damage the fabric and internal wiring.
• Do not iron. High temperatures can damage the heating elements and fabric.
• Do not use until the power cord is securely connected to the controller.
• This product is ETL certified for quality and features low electromagnetic field (EMF) emission.

3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to properly set up your heated mattress pad:

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heated mattress pad and controllers from the packaging.
2. Position the Pad: Place the mattress pad directly on your mattress, ensuring it is centered and covers the entire sleeping surface. The deep pockets (up to 17 inches) and elastic skirt are designed to fit securely around most mattresses.

3. Connect Controllers: For King size pads, there are two controllers. Connect each controller's power cord to the corresponding port on the mattress pad. Ensure a firm connection.

4. Plug In: Plug the power cords from the controllers into a 120V AC electrical outlet. Avoid using extension cords.
5. Arrange Cords: Route the cords neatly to prevent tripping hazards and ensure they are not pinched between the mattress and bed frame.

4. Operating Instructions

Your Sealy Heated Mattress Pad offers personalized comfort with easy-to-use controls.

1. Power On/Off: Press the power button on the controller to turn the mattress pad on or off. The LCD screen will illuminate.
2. Adjust Heat Setting: Use the '+' and '-' buttons under 'HEAT' to select your desired heat level from 1 to 10. Level 10 is the warmest.
3. Preheat Feature: The mattress pad includes a 20-minute preheat function. Activate this feature to warm your bed before use.
4. Set Auto Shut-Off Timer: Use the '+' and '-' buttons under 'TIME' to set the auto shut-off timer from 1 to 12 hours. This feature provides peace of mind by automatically turning off the heat after the selected duration.
5. Dual Control (King/Queen Sizes): King and Queen size mattress pads feature dual controllers, allowing independent temperature and timer settings for each side of the bed.

6. Setting Memory: The controller remembers your last heat and timer settings for convenience.

5. Care and Maintenance

Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your heated mattress pad.

1. Disconnect Power: Always unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and detach the controller(s) from the mattress pad before cleaning.
2. Machine Washable: The mattress pad is machine washable. Wash on a gentle cycle with cold water (under 30℃).

3. Drying: Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Ensure the mattress pad is completely dry before reconnecting the controllers and plugging it back in.
4. Water Repellent: The mattress pad features a water-repellent design, allowing for easy wiping of spills.

5. Do Not: Do not dry clean, bleach, or iron the mattress pad. These actions can damage the heating elements and fabric.

6. Troubleshooting

• Pad Not Heating: Ensure all connections (wall outlet to controller, controller to pad) are secure. Check if the power button is pressed and a heat setting is selected.
• Controller Display Not Working: Verify the power cord is fully inserted into the wall outlet and the controller is properly connected to the pad.
• Uneven Heating: Ensure the mattress pad is spread flat on the mattress without any folds or bunches. The design provides even heat distribution.
