Setup Instructions
1. Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove the safe from its packaging. Inspect the safe for any signs of damage. Retain all packaging materials until you are satisfied with the product.
2. Installing Batteries
The digital keypad requires batteries to operate. Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the safe door. Insert the required number of AA batteries (not included) according to the polarity indicators. Close the battery compartment securely.
3. Mounting Options
For enhanced security, it is recommended to mount the safe to a floor or wall. Use the provided mounting bolts and hardware. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the weight of the safe and its contents.

Operating Instructions
1. Opening the Safe
The safe can be opened using a combination of keys or the digital keypad.
Method A: Dual Keylock Access
Insert the master key into the left keyhole and the emergency key into the right keyhole. Turn both keys simultaneously to unlock the safe. Then, turn the handle to open the door.
Method B: Digital Keypad Access
Enter your personal passcode on the digital keypad, followed by the '#' or 'START' button. Once 'OPEN' appears on the display, turn the handle to open the door. If the internal batteries are low, use the external battery box by plugging it into the port on the keypad before entering your code.

2. Setting/Changing Passcode
To set or change the personal passcode:
- With the safe door open, locate the red reset button on the inside edge of the door.
- Press the red reset button. The display will show 'SET'.
- Enter your new 3-8 digit passcode on the keypad.
- Press the '#' or 'START' button to confirm. The display will show 'DONE'.
- Test the new passcode with the door open before closing it.
You can also set a temporary guest password by following similar steps, which can be useful for temporary access without revealing your primary code.
3. Using the Internal Lockable Cabinet
The safe includes a smaller, lockable cabinet inside for extra security. Use the dedicated key to open and close this internal compartment. This is ideal for storing highly sensitive documents or small valuables.

4. Adjusting Shelves
The safe features an adjustable and removable shelf. To adjust the shelf height, remove the shelf and reposition its supports into the desired slots on the side rails. To remove the shelf completely, simply lift it out of its supports.

Maintenance
1. Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator on the display shows low power, replace the internal batteries promptly. Use 4 AA batteries. If the batteries die while the safe is locked, use the external battery box to provide temporary power for opening, then replace the internal batteries.
2. Cleaning
Clean the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish. Keep the digital keypad and keyholes free from dust and debris.
Troubleshooting
- Safe will not open with passcode: Ensure batteries are not low. Try using the external battery box. If still unsuccessful, use the emergency keys.
- Forgotten Passcode: Use the emergency keys to open the safe. Once open, locate and press the red reset button on the inside of the door to set a new passcode.
- Alarm sounds: The alarm will activate after multiple incorrect passcode entries. Enter the correct passcode or use the emergency keys to disarm the alarm.
- Display is blank: Check if the batteries are correctly installed and charged. Use the external battery box if needed.
