1. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before installation and use. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or other serious injury or death.

• Neutral Wire Required: Ensure your junction box has a neutral wire (typically white) before purchasing.
• Single-Pole Only: This switch is designed for single-pole configurations only. It is NOT compatible with 3-way switches.
• Wi-Fi Network: Supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks only. Not compatible with 5GHz Wi-Fi.
• Not Dimmable: This smart switch does not support dimming functions.
• Power Off: Always turn off power at the circuit breaker before installing or servicing the switch.
• Professional Installation: If you are unsure about any part of the installation process, consult a qualified electrician.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Wiring Installation

1. Turn off power at the circuit breaker for the switch location.
2. Remove the existing wall plate and switch.
3. Identify the Line, Load, Neutral, and Ground wires.
4. Connect the ORVIBO Smart Switch wires to your home's wiring using the provided wire connectors:
• Connect the Line wire from the wall to the Line wire (usually black) on the smart switch.
• Connect the Load wire from the wall to the Load wire (usually red) on the smart switch.
• Connect the Neutral wire from the wall to the Neutral wire (usually white) on the smart switch.
• Connect the Ground wire from the wall to the Ground wire (usually green/yellow) on the smart switch.
5. Secure the switch into the wall box with screws.
6. Attach the base plate and then snap on the decorative wall plate cover.

3.2 App Setup

Download the ORVIBO Home app to your smartphone:

• Scan the QR code provided in the user manual or on the product packaging.
• Search for "ORVIBO Home" on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

Once installed:

1. Open the ORVIBO Home app and create an account or log in.
2. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled for automatic device discovery.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your "Smart Wi-Fi Switch". The app will guide you through connecting the switch to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
4. Name your device (e.g., "Living Room Light").

3.3 Voice Control Setup (Alexa & Google Home)

To enable voice control, link your ORVIBO Home account with your Alexa or Google Home app:

• Open your Alexa or Google Home app.
• Navigate to the "Skills" (Alexa) or "Works with Google" (Google Home) section.
• Search for "ORVIBO Home" and enable the skill/service.
• Log in with your ORVIBO Home account credentials when prompted.
• Discover devices. Your smart switch should now appear and be controllable via voice commands.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Manual Control

You can manually turn the light on or off by pressing the switch button. The indicator light on the switch will illuminate when the light is on, making it easy to locate in the dark.

4.2 App Remote Control

Use the ORVIBO Home app to control your light switch from anywhere with an internet connection:

• On/Off Control: Tap the switch icon in the app to toggle the light.
• Scheduling: Create schedules to automatically turn lights on or off at specific times (e.g., turn on at sunset, turn off at bedtime).
• Vacation Mode: Activate holiday mode to randomly turn lights on and off, creating the illusion of occupancy to deter intruders.
• Group Control: Control multiple ORVIBO smart switches simultaneously by grouping them in the app.

4.3 Voice Control

Control your light switch hands-free using voice commands with Alexa or Google Home:

• "Alexa, turn on the [Device Name]."
• "Hey Google, turn off the [Device Name]."

5. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your ORVIBO Smart Switch:

• Clean the switch surface regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Ensure the switch is not exposed to excessive moisture or extreme temperatures.
• Periodically check for any loose wiring connections (after turning off power at the breaker).

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your smart switch, try the following:

• Switch Not Responding: Check if the circuit breaker is on. Ensure the switch is properly wired.
• Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues: Make sure your Wi-Fi router is on and broadcasting a 2.4GHz signal. Move the switch closer to the router if possible. Restart your router and the smart switch.
• App Control Problems: Ensure your phone has an active internet connection. Log out and log back into the ORVIBO Home app. Check for app updates.
• Voice Control Not Working: Verify that your ORVIBO Home account is correctly linked in your Alexa/Google Home app. Ensure your voice assistant device is online and functioning correctly.
• Timer/Schedule Issues: Some users have reported that timer functions may be affected by time zone settings. Ensure your app's time zone matches your physical location, or adjust schedules accordingly (e.g., if the app defaults to Beijing time, adjust your desired time by the difference).
