Maintenance
Battery Management
The smart lock operates on batteries. When the battery level is low, the lock will issue a low battery alarm. You will have approximately 50 unlock attempts remaining after the alarm. To prevent being locked out, replace the batteries promptly. In case of complete power loss, use the mechanical backup key or connect a Micro USB power bank to the emergency power port.
Cleaning
To maintain the appearance and functionality of your smart lock, wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish and electronic components. Ensure the fingerprint sensor and keypad are kept clean for optimal performance.
Troubleshooting
- Lock not responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure the lock is properly installed and all connections are secure.
- Fingerprint not recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Re-register your fingerprint if issues persist.
- Passcode not working: Verify the passcode is entered correctly. Check if the passcode has expired or been deactivated in the TTLock app.
- App connectivity issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. If using WiFi, verify the KUCACCI Gateway is powered on and connected to your home network. Restart the app and the lock if necessary.
- Lock is jammed: Do not force the handle. Check for any obstructions in the door frame or latch mechanism. Use the mechanical key if electronic methods fail.
