5. Setup
5.1 Battery Charging
- Insert the 4.0Ah Li-ion battery into the 2A charger.
- Plug the charger into a standard power outlet.
- The charger will indicate charging status: Red light for charging, Green steady light for charge complete, Green blinking for battery removed, Flash Red light for battery temperature too high.
- Allow the battery to fully charge before first use.
5.2 Attaching the Auxiliary Handle
- Loosen the auxiliary handle by twisting it counter-clockwise.
- Slide the handle onto the front of the drill body.
- Adjust the handle to a comfortable and secure position for your application. The handle can rotate 360 degrees.
- Tighten the handle by twisting it clockwise until it is firmly secured.
5.3 Inserting and Removing SDS-Plus Bits
- Inserting: Pull back the SDS-Plus chuck collar. Insert the SDS-Plus bit into the chuck until it clicks into place. Release the collar. Tug on the bit to ensure it is securely locked.
- Removing: Pull back the SDS-Plus chuck collar and hold it. The bit will release. Carefully remove the bit.
6. Operation
6.1 Selecting Operating Modes
The rotary hammer drill features a mode selector knob to switch between four distinct operating modes. Rotate the knob to the desired setting:

- Drilling Mode (Drill Icon): For drilling holes in wood, metal, and plastic without hammer action.
- Hammer Drilling Mode (Drill and Hammer Icon): For drilling in concrete, masonry, and brick with hammer action.
- Demolition Mode (Hammer Icon): For light chiseling and demolition work, such as grooving in brick or concrete, or removing ceramic tiles.
- Chisel Angle Adjust Mode (Chisel with Rotation Icon): Allows adjustment of the chisel bit's angle. This mode should only be used for positioning the chisel, not for drilling or chiseling operations.
6.2 Variable Speed Trigger
The tool is equipped with a variable speed trigger. Pressing the trigger further increases the speed and impact frequency. Release the trigger to stop the tool.
6.3 Forward/Reverse Switch
Located above the trigger, the forward/reverse switch allows you to change the rotation direction of the drill bit. Push the switch left for forward rotation and right for reverse rotation. Ensure the tool has come to a complete stop before changing direction.
6.4 Using the LED Work Light
The built-in LED work light automatically activates when the trigger is pressed, illuminating the work area for improved visibility in low-light conditions.

7.1 Cleaning
- Always disconnect the battery pack before cleaning.
