2. Safety Information
Always observe safety precautions to prevent serious injury or death. This generator produces carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless, poisonous gas. Operating it indoors can kill you in minutes.
2.1 General Safety
- Read and understand all instructions before operating the generator.
- Operate the generator outdoors only, far away from windows, doors, and vents.
- Keep children and pets away from the generator.
- Do not operate the generator in rain or wet conditions.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the generator.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and eye protection.
2.2 Fuel Safety
- Gasoline is highly flammable and its vapors are explosive. Handle fuel with extreme care.
- Store fuel in an approved container in a well-ventilated area.
- Never refuel a hot or running engine. Allow the generator to cool down before refueling.
- Do not overfill the fuel tank. Leave space for fuel expansion.
- Clean up any spilled fuel immediately.
2.3 Electrical Safety
- Never connect the generator directly to a building's electrical system without a transfer switch installed by a qualified electrician. This can cause backfeeding and electrocute utility workers.
- Use only approved extension cords that are rated for outdoor use and the load capacity.
- Ensure all electrical connections are secure and free from damage.
- Do not overload the generator.

5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking and Inspection
- Carefully remove the generator from its packaging.
- Inspect for any shipping damage. If damaged, contact customer support immediately.
- Ensure all included components are present.
5.2 Adding Engine Oil
The generator is shipped without engine oil. You must add the recommended oil before first use.
- Place the generator on a level surface.
- Remove the oil fill cap/dipstick.
- Using the provided oil funnel, add 0.45 quarts (approximately 426 ml) of SAE 15W-40 oil. Do not overfill.
- Replace the oil fill cap/dipstick securely.
- The generator features a low oil shutdown system to protect the engine.
5.3 Adding Fuel
Use only fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher.
- Ensure the generator is turned OFF and has cooled down.
- Open the fuel tank cap.
- Carefully pour gasoline into the fuel tank, up to the fill limit. The tank capacity is 2.11 gallons.
- Do not overfill.
- Securely close the fuel tank cap.
5.4 Grounding the Generator
For safety, especially at maximum load, it is recommended to ground the generator using an external grounding rod. Connect a heavy-gauge wire from the generator's ground terminal to a grounding rod driven into the earth.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Starting the Engine
- Ensure the generator is on a level surface and in a well-ventilated outdoor area.
- Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.
- Turn the multi-switch to the CHOKE position (if the engine is cold).
- Pull the recoil starter handle firmly and smoothly until the engine starts.
- Once the engine starts, slowly move the multi-switch to the ON position.
- Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes before connecting electrical loads.
6.2 ECO Mode Operation
The ESC throttle switch allows you to engage ECO mode for fuel efficiency and quieter operation when the load is low.
- To activate ECO mode, set the ESC throttle switch to ON. The engine speed will automatically adjust to match the load.
- For full power or when starting high-load appliances, set the ESC throttle switch to OFF.
6.3 Connecting Electrical Devices
- Ensure the generator is running stably.
- Plug your electrical devices into the appropriate AC receptacles or USB ports.
- Do not exceed the generator's rated output of 3300 watts (3800 watts peak).
- If an overload occurs, the overload indicator light will illuminate, and the output may shut down. Disconnect devices, press the AC reset button, and restart if necessary.
6.4 Stopping the Engine
- Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.
- Allow the engine to run for a few minutes without load to cool down.
- Turn the multi-switch to the OFF position.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and reliable operation of your generator. Always perform maintenance with the engine OFF and cooled.
7.1 Engine Oil Change
- Change oil after the first 20 hours of operation, then every 100 hours or annually.
- Warm up the engine for a few minutes, then turn it OFF.
- Place a drain pan under the oil drain plug.
- Remove the oil drain plug and oil fill cap/dipstick to allow oil to drain completely.
- Reinstall the drain plug and refill with 0.45 quarts of SAE 15W-40 oil.
7.2 Air Filter Maintenance
- Inspect the air filter every 50 hours or monthly. Clean or replace if dirty.
- Remove the air filter cover and element.
- Wash the foam element in warm, soapy water, rinse, and allow to dry completely.
- Lightly oil the foam element with engine oil, then squeeze out excess.
- Reinstall the air filter element and cover.
7.3 Spark Plug Inspection
- Inspect the spark plug every 100 hours or annually.
- Remove the spark plug cap and use the provided spark plug tool to remove the plug.
- Check for carbon deposits or discoloration. Clean with a wire brush or replace if necessary.
- Ensure the spark plug gap is correct (refer to specifications).
- Reinstall the spark plug and cap.
7.4 Storage
- For storage longer than 30 days, drain the fuel tank and carburetor.
- Add a fuel stabilizer to the fuel tank if not draining.
- Change the engine oil.
- Clean the generator thoroughly.
- Store in a clean, dry, well-ventilated area.
