1. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons. Read all instructions carefully before operating the ARNO Airfry Ultra.

  • Voltage Check: Ensure your household voltage matches the appliance's specified voltage (220V).
  • Power Cord: Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • Water and Liquids: Do not immerse the appliance, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Children: Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Hot Surfaces: Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. Hot air is released through the air outlet openings during operation. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and from the air outlet openings.
  • Ventilation: Do not block any ventilation openings. Place the appliance against a wall with at least 10 cm (4 inches) free space on the back and sides, and 10 cm (4 inches) free space above the appliance.
  • Maintenance: Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Contact authorized service personnel for examination, repair, or adjustment.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

  1. Remove all packaging materials from the appliance.
  2. Check that all parts are present and in good condition.
  3. Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance.

3.2 Initial Cleaning

  1. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
  2. Clean the cooking basket and the removable grill plate with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. These parts are dishwasher safe.
  3. Dry all parts thoroughly before use.

3.3 Placement

  • Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal, and heat-resistant surface.
  • Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of free space around the back and sides, and above the appliance for proper ventilation.
  • Do not place the appliance near flammable materials or heat sources.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Preparing for Cooking

  1. Pull the basket out of the appliance using the handle.
  2. Place the food into the basket. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  3. Slide the basket back into the appliance until it clicks into place.

4.2 Setting Temperature and Time

  • Temperature Control: Use the temperature dial (usually located on the top or front panel) to set the desired cooking temperature, up to 200°C.
  • Timer Control: Use the timer dial to set the desired cooking time, up to 60 minutes. The appliance will automatically turn off when the timer reaches zero.

4.3 Cooking Process

  1. Plug the appliance into a grounded 220V power outlet.
  2. Set the desired temperature and cooking time. The appliance will start heating immediately.
  3. For even cooking, some foods may require shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time. To do this, pull out the basket, shake it gently, and then slide it back in. The appliance will resume cooking.
  4. When the timer reaches zero, a bell will sound, and the appliance will turn off.
  5. Carefully pull out the basket and transfer the cooked food to a plate. Use heat-resistant tongs.

4.4 Preheating

For best results, preheating the air fryer for 3-5 minutes at the desired temperature before adding food is recommended. Simply set the temperature and timer for 3-5 minutes without food in the basket.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

5.1 Daily Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  3. Remove the cooking basket and grill plate. Wash them with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. They are also dishwasher safe.
  4. Clean the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a soft brush to remove food residues from the heating element.
  5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing or reusing the appliance.

5.2 Storage

  • Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
  • Ensure the appliance is clean and dry before storage.
