This system integrates traditional landline functionality with modern features such as Bluetooth Connect to Cell and an advanced Smart Call Blocker. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new phone system.

Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the cordless handset.
- Connect the battery pack plug securely into the jack inside the compartment.
- Place the battery pack with the label facing up and tuck the wires neatly.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
- Place the handset in the charger or base unit to charge for at least 10 hours before first use. The CHARGE light on the handset will illuminate.
2. Base Unit Connection
- Plug the small end of the AC adaptor into the power jack on the back of the telephone base.
- Plug the large end of the AC adaptor into a wall outlet not controlled by a wall switch.
- Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the TEL LINE jack on the back of the telephone base.
- Plug the other end of the telephone line cord into a telephone wall jack.
Operating Instructions
Making and Receiving Calls
- To make a call: Press HOME/FLASH or CELL, then dial the number.
- To answer a call: Press any dialing key (0-9, #, *) or HOME/FLASH or CELL.
- To end a call: Press OFF/CANCEL or place the handset in the base/charger.
Digital Answering System
The integrated digital answering system records messages when you are unable to answer calls. It has a recording capacity of up to 22 minutes.

- Turn On/Off: Press ANS ON/OFF on the base unit.
- Play Messages: Press PLAY/STOP on the base unit.
- Skip/Repeat: Use the SKIP or REPEAT buttons on the base unit during playback.
Smart Call Blocker
This feature helps to filter unwanted calls. You can block up to 1,000 numbers permanently.

- Block a call during ringing: Press CALL BLOCK on the handset.
- Block a call from Caller ID history: Navigate to the desired number in Caller ID history, then press CALL BLOCK.
- Screening Robocalls: Set the system to ask callers to press the pound key.
- Screening Unknown Callers: Set the system to ask callers to record their names.

Connect to Cell
Pair your cellular phone(s) with the VS112 system to make and receive cell calls through your cordless handsets.

- Pairing: Follow the instructions in the quick start guide to pair up to two Bluetooth-enabled devices.
- Making Cell Calls: Press CELL on the handset, then dial the number.
- Accessing Voice Assistants: Access Siri or Google Now from the cordless handsets even if your smartphone is in another room.
Intercom
Use the intercom feature to communicate between handsets within your system.

Speakerphone
