2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup and Assembly

Before first use, wash all removable parts (jars, blades, lids) with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.

  1. Place the motor unit on a stable, flat, and dry surface.
  2. Select the appropriate jar or processing bowl for your task.
  3. Insert the required blade or disc onto the spindle inside the jar/bowl. Ensure it is securely seated.
  4. Add your ingredients to the jar/bowl. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
  5. Secure the lid onto the jar/bowl. Ensure it is properly locked into place.
  6. Place the assembled jar/bowl onto the motor unit. Twist clockwise until it locks securely.
  7. Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

The Rico FP1806 offers 13 functions for diverse kitchen tasks. Always ensure the appliance is properly assembled and locked before starting.

5.1. Grinding (Dry/Wet)

  • Use the 1 Litre Dry Grinding Jar for dry ingredients like spices, nuts, or coffee beans.
  • For wet grinding (e.g., idli/dosa batter), use the Blender Jar or Dry Grinding Jar depending on quantity. Add a small amount of water if needed.
  • Do not overfill. Operate in short bursts using the pulse function or low speed.

5.2. Blending

  • Attach the 1.5 Litre Blender Jar with its blade.
  • Add liquids and soft ingredients for smoothies, purees, or milkshakes.
  • Start at a low speed and gradually increase if necessary. Use the pulse function for controlled blending.

5.3. Chopping, Slicing, Shredding

  • Use the Processing Bowl with the appropriate blade (chopping blade) or disc (slicing, thick/thin shredding, French fry).
  • For chopping, add ingredients to the bowl and use the pulse function for desired consistency.
  • For slicing/shredding, place the disc on the spindle, secure the lid, and feed ingredients through the feeder tube.

5.4. Kneading Dough

  • Attach the 1.7 Litre Atta Kneader to the motor unit.
  • Add flour and water in the recommended proportions (refer to recipes for best results).
  • Operate at a low speed until a smooth dough is formed.

5.5. Juicing (Citrus & Centrifugal)

  • Citrus Juicer: Attach the citrus juicer cone and bowl. Press halved citrus fruits onto the cone while operating.
  • Centrifugal Juicer: Assemble the centrifugal juicer attachment. Feed fruits/vegetables through the chute.

5.6. Coconut Scraping

  • Attach the coconut scraper attachment to the motor unit.
  • Hold a halved coconut firmly against the rotating scraper blade.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
