Operating Instructions
The Roca A346687000 suspended toilet operates like a standard toilet, utilizing a flushing mechanism integrated into the wall frame system. Its rimless design ensures efficient water distribution for thorough cleaning with each flush.
- Flushing: Activate the flush mechanism via the flush plate installed on your wall. The specific operation (e.g., dual flush options) will depend on the Roca installation system chosen.
- Rimless Design: The rimless bowl design directs water powerfully around the entire bowl, ensuring hygienic cleaning without a traditional rim where germs can accumulate.
Maintenance and Care
Regular cleaning and proper care will maintain the appearance and functionality of your Roca suspended toilet.
- Daily Cleaning: Use a soft cloth or sponge with a mild, non-abrasive bathroom cleaner. Wipe down the exterior and interior of the bowl.
- Deep Cleaning: For more thorough cleaning, use a toilet brush with a suitable toilet bowl cleaner. Ensure the cleaner is safe for plastic surfaces.
- Avoid Abrasives: Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals (e.g., strong acids or alkalis) as these can damage the plastic surface and the finish of the flush plate.
- Rimless Advantage: The rimless design simplifies cleaning, as there are no hidden areas for dirt and bacteria to accumulate. Simply wipe the entire inner surface of the bowl.
- Seat Care: Clean the toilet seat and lid according to the manufacturer's instructions for the specific seat model.
Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter. For complex problems, it is recommended to contact a qualified plumber or Roca customer support.
- Weak Flush:
- Check the water supply valve behind the wall frame; ensure it is fully open.
- Inspect the flush mechanism within the wall frame for any obstructions or misalignments.
- Ensure the water level in the cistern (within the wall frame) is correct.
- Continuous Running Water:
- This usually indicates an issue with the fill valve or flush valve inside the cistern.
- Consult the manual for your specific Roca wall frame system for adjustment or repair instructions.
- Leaks:
- Immediately turn off the water supply to the toilet.
- Inspect all connections between the toilet bowl and the wall frame, as well as water supply lines.
- Tighten any loose connections. If the leak persists, professional assistance is required.
- Odors:
- Ensure the toilet is clean and free of residue.
- Check the wax ring or seal between the toilet and the waste pipe for proper sealing. This may require professional inspection.
