Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your ASHATA Portable TV, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power | Battery drained; Power adapter not connected or faulty. | Connect the power adapter and ensure it's plugged into a working outlet. Allow time for charging. |
| No signal / Poor picture quality | Antenna not connected properly; Weak signal; Incorrect input source. | Ensure antenna is securely connected. Adjust antenna position (near window/outdoors). Perform a channel re-scan. Check if the correct input source (DTV/ATV) is selected. Weather conditions or other electrical appliances/wireless signals may reduce antenna strength. |
| No sound | Volume too low or muted; Faulty audio cable (for external devices). | Increase volume. Check if mute is activated. If using AV/HDMI, ensure cables are connected correctly. |
| USB playback issues | Unsupported file format; USB drive not recognized. | Ensure files are in supported formats (MKV, MOV, AVI, WMV, MP4, FLV, MPEG1-4, MP3). Try a different USB drive or reformat the current one (FAT32 recommended). |
| Remote control not working | Dead batteries; Obstruction between remote and TV. | Replace remote control batteries. Ensure no objects are blocking the remote's signal path to the TV's IR receiver. |
