Replacing the Round HEPA Filter
- Locate the Filter Compartment: The round HEPA filter is typically located in the dust container or a dedicated filter housing. Consult your vacuum cleaner's manual to identify its exact position.

- Close the Compartment: Securely close any covers or panels that were opened to access the filter.
After replacing both filters, you can plug in your vacuum cleaner and resume normal operation.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance of your HEPA filters is crucial for maintaining optimal vacuum cleaner performance and air quality.
- Cleaning Frequency: It is recommended to clean the reusable filters every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage and the amount of debris collected.
- Cleaning Procedure:
- Remove the filters from the vacuum cleaner as described in the "Installation Guide."
- Gently tap the filters over a waste bin to dislodge loose dust and debris.
- For a more thorough cleaning, rinse the filters under cool, running water until the water runs clear. Do not use hot water or detergents.
- Allow the filters to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before re-installing them. Ensure they are absolutely dry to prevent mold growth and damage to the vacuum cleaner. Do not use a dryer or other heating devices.
- Replacement Frequency: Even with regular cleaning, filters wear out over time. For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace your HEPA filters every 3-6 months, or sooner if you notice a decrease in suction power or increased motor noise.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues after installing or cleaning your filters, consider the following:
- Reduced Suction Power:
- Check if filters are clogged. Clean or replace them if necessary.
- Ensure filters are installed correctly and securely.
- Verify that the dust container is not full and other parts of the vacuum (hoses, nozzles) are clear of blockages.
- Unusual Odor from Vacuum:
- Filters may not have been completely dry before re-installation, leading to mold or mildew. Replace filters immediately.
- Old, heavily soiled filters can retain odors. Replace them.
- Filter Does Not Fit:
- Double-check the model numbers of your vacuum cleaner against the compatible models listed in this manual.
- Ensure you are attempting to install the correct filter (round for round compartment, rectangular for rectangular compartment).
