1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance. Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

2. Product Overview

The CASO AF 600 XL Hot Air Fryer is designed for healthy, low-fat preparation of various foods. It features a large 6-liter basket and intuitive touch controls.

3. Setup and First Use

Unpacking:

  1. Remove all packaging materials from the appliance.
  2. Check for any damage. Do not use if damaged.
  3. Remove any stickers or labels.

Placement:

Cleaning Before First Use:

  1. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
  2. Remove the frying basket and wash it with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.
  3. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  4. Insert the frying basket back into the appliance.

4. Operating Instructions

Basic Operation:

  1. Plug the appliance into a grounded wall outlet. The display will illuminate briefly.
  2. Pull out the frying basket by the handle.
  3. Place ingredients into the frying basket. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  4. Slide the frying basket back into the appliance until it clicks into place.
  5. Press the power button () to turn on the display.
  6. Manual Setting:
    • Press the temperature button (Temp) and use the / buttons to adjust the temperature (50-200°C in 5°C increments).
    • Press the time button (Time) and use the / buttons to adjust the cooking time (1-60 minutes).
  7. Pre-set Programs:
    • Select one of the 12 automatic programs (e.g., fries, chicken, fish, vegetables, pastries) by pressing the corresponding icon. The appliance will automatically set the optimal temperature and time.
  8. Press the start/pause button () to begin cooking.
  9. During cooking, you can pause the process by pressing the start/pause button again.
  10. The appliance will beep when the cooking time is complete. Carefully pull out the basket and remove the food.

Shake Reminder:

For certain foods, the appliance may emit a "SHAKE" reminder during the cooking cycle. This indicates that the food should be shaken or turned for even cooking and crispiness. Pull out the basket, shake the contents, and reinsert the basket to resume cooking.

Dehydration Program:

The dehydration program allows for temperature settings from 40°C to 70°C and a timer up to 480 minutes (8 hours). Select the dehydration icon and adjust settings as needed for drying fruits, vegetables, or herbs.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air fryer.

Cleaning the Frying Basket:

  1. Unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Remove the frying basket. The basket and its accessories are dishwasher safe.
  3. Alternatively, wash the basket with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.
  4. For stubborn food residues, soak the basket in hot water with dish soap for about 10 minutes.
  5. Rinse thoroughly and dry all parts before reassembling.
