5. Setup

5.1 Placement

Place the Marantz CD 60 on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive vibration. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper ventilation.

The CD 60 offers multiple connection options to your amplifier or receiver:

After all audio connections are made, connect the supplied power cord to the 'AC IN' inlet on the rear panel of the CD 60, and then plug the other end into a suitable AC power outlet.

6. Operation

6.1 Basic CD Playback

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the unit.
  2. Press the Open/Close button to open the disc tray.
  3. Place a CD (or CD-R/RW) onto the disc tray with the label side facing up.
  4. Press the Open/Close button again to close the disc tray. The unit will read the disc.
  5. Press the Play/Pause button to start playback.
  6. Use the Skip buttons to navigate between tracks.
  7. Press the Stop button to stop playback.

The Marantz CD 60 supports playback of various audio file formats from a connected USB storage device via its front USB port.

Connect headphones to the 'PHONES' jack on the front panel. Adjust the 'PHONES LEVEL' knob to control the headphone volume.
