1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Aiheal Electric Gooseneck Kettle. This kettle is designed for precision brewing of coffee and tea, offering adjustable temperature control, rapid heating, and a precise pour-over spout. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure safe and optimal operation.

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

• Read all instructions.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or power base in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• The kettle must be used only with the power base provided.
• Ensure the lid is securely closed during operation.
• Do not fill above the MAX fill line or below the MIN fill line.
• This kettle features boil-dry protection. If the kettle boils dry, it will automatically shut off. Allow it to cool before refilling.

4. Setup and First Use

Before using your kettle for the first time, please follow these steps:

1. Unpack the kettle and all its components. Remove any packaging materials.
2. Wipe the exterior of the kettle and power base with a damp cloth.
3. Fill the kettle with clean water up to the MAX fill line.
4. Place the kettle securely on the power base.
5. Plug the power base into a standard electrical outlet.
6. Boil the water at 212°F (100°C) and then discard it. This helps to clean the interior and remove any manufacturing residues.
7. Repeat step 6 two to three times to ensure thorough cleaning.

5. Operating Instructions

This section details how to operate your Aiheal Electric Gooseneck Kettle.

5.1 Filling the Kettle

• Remove the kettle from the power base.
• Open the lid and fill the kettle with fresh, cold water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark.
• Close the lid securely and place the kettle back on the power base.

5.2 Setting Temperature and Heating

• The LCD display will show the current water temperature.
• Use the Temperature Setting Knob (right side of the base) to adjust the desired temperature. The temperature can be set from 100°F to 212°F (38°C to 100°C) in 1-degree increments.
• Press the START/CANCEL button (center of the knob) to begin heating. The display will show the target temperature and the current temperature.
• The kettle features 1200W rapid heating, boiling 0.8L of water in approximately 3 to 5 minutes.

5.3 Keep Warm Function

• After reaching the target temperature, press the HOLD button (left side of the base) to activate the keep warm function.
• The kettle will maintain the set temperature for up to 120 minutes (2 hours).
• To deactivate, press the HOLD button again or lift the kettle from the base.

5.4 Fahrenheit/Celsius Conversion & Mute Function

• Press the °F/°C button (left side of the base) to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature displays.
• Press and hold the °F/°C button for 3 seconds to mute or unmute the kettle's sounds.

5.5 Built-in Stopwatch

• The kettle includes a built-in stopwatch feature, useful for timing pour-over brewing.
• To activate the stopwatch, press and hold the TIMER button for 3 seconds.
• Press the TIMER button again to start/pause the timer.
• Press and hold the TIMER button for 3 seconds to reset the timer.

5.6 Precise Pouring

The unique gooseneck spout provides exceptional control over water flow, making it ideal for pour-over coffee and tea. This design ensures a slow, steady, and precise stream, preventing spills and optimizing extraction.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and descaling will prolong the life of your kettle and ensure optimal performance.

6.1 Daily Cleaning

• Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
• Rinse the interior of the kettle with clean water. The interior is made of 304 food-grade stainless steel.
• Do not immerse the power base or cord in water or any other liquid.

6.2 Descaling (Removing Mineral Deposits)

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle over time, especially in hard water areas. This can affect performance and taste. Descale your kettle regularly:

1. Fill the kettle with 1 cup of white vinegar or lemon juice and 2 cups of water.
2. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand for at least 2 hours, or overnight for heavy deposits.
3. Empty the kettle and rinse it thoroughly with clean water several times.
4. If necessary, gently scrub the interior with a soft brush or sponge to remove stubborn deposits.
5. Repeat the process if significant deposits remain.
