6.2 Punching Procedure

  1. Select Die: Choose the correct punching die for the desired hole size. The tool comes with Φ6.5mm, Φ9mm, Φ13mm, Φ17mm, and Φ20.5mm dies.
  2. Install Die: Ensure the power is disconnected. Carefully install the selected die into the punch head. Refer to the tool's specific mechanism for die installation (usually involves securing with a wrench).
  3. Prepare Workpiece: Mark the exact location for the hole on your material. Secure the material to prevent shifting during punching.
  4. Position Tool: Place the punch head over the marked location. Ensure the material is properly seated against the punch and die.
  5. Lubricate: Apply a small amount of lubricant (provided) to the punching area to reduce friction and extend die life.
  6. Punch: Press the one-button start switch. The hydraulic mechanism will activate, punching the hole. The process typically takes 1-3 seconds.
  7. Release: Once the punch is complete, release the switch. The punch will retract.
  8. Inspect: Remove the workpiece and inspect the punched hole. The tool is designed to produce clean holes with no burrs.
