1. Setup
Before using your Igloo Automatic Ice Maker, please follow these steps to ensure proper setup and optimal performance.
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the unit for any damage. Ensure all accessories, including the ice scoop and ice basket, are present.
- Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources (like ovens or stoves), and corrosive liquids. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the unit. Refer to the 'Cleaning & Maintenance' section for detailed instructions on how to perform the initial cleaning cycle.
- Power Connection: Allow the unit to sit for at least one hour after transport before plugging it into a grounded electrical outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle.

2. Operating Instructions
Your Igloo Automatic Ice Maker is designed for ease of use, producing ice quickly and efficiently.
- Add Water: Open the top lid and remove the ice basket. Pour potable water into the water reservoir up to the MAX water level mark. Do not overfill.
- Power On: Press the POWER button on the LED control panel to turn on the unit.
- Select Ice Size: Press the SELECT button to choose between small or large ice cubes. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
- Ice Production: The unit will begin the ice-making cycle automatically. It can produce 9 ice cubes in as little as 7 minutes. The ice maker has a daily production capacity of 26 pounds.
- Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the 'ICE FULL' LED light will illuminate, and the unit will automatically stop making ice. Remove ice to resume production.
- Add Water Indicator: If the water level is low, the 'ADD WATER' LED light will illuminate. Add more water to the reservoir to continue ice production.

3. Cleaning & Maintenance
Regular cleaning and proper maintenance will extend the life of your Igloo Automatic Ice Maker and ensure optimal ice quality.
- Daily Cleaning: After each use, remove any remaining ice from the ice basket. Drain any leftover water from the reservoir by unplugging the water drain plug located at the bottom of the unit. Wipe the interior with a soft, clean cloth.
- Self-Cleaning Cycle: The unit features a self-cleaning function. To activate, ensure the water reservoir is filled, then press and hold the SELECT button for 5 seconds until the 'CLEAN' indicator illuminates. The cycle will run for approximately 15 minutes.
- Deep Cleaning (Monthly): For a more thorough cleaning, use a solution of water and vinegar (10:1 ratio) or a mild cleaning solution. Run the self-cleaning cycle with this solution, then drain and rinse thoroughly with fresh water. Run two more cycles with fresh water only to ensure all cleaning solution residue is removed.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: If the unit will not be used for an extended period, ensure it is completely dry before storing. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

4. Troubleshooting
