5.2 Power and Network Connection (PoE)
This camera supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing both power and data transmission through a single Ethernet cable. This simplifies installation by eliminating the need for a separate power adapter.
- Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the camera's RJ45 (PoE) port. Use the waterproof connector for outdoor installations.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to a PoE switch, PoE injector, PoE router, or a PoE NVR.
- Alternatively, if not using PoE, connect a 12V DC power adapter (not included) to the DC 12V Power Port and connect the Ethernet cable to a standard router or NVR.
