Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your WOLFBOX G900 Mirror Dash Cam system.

Step 1: Mounting the Mirror Dash Cam

Attach the provided rubber mounting straps to secure the G900 mirror dash cam over your existing rearview mirror. Ensure it is firmly in place and does not obstruct your view or vehicle controls.

Step 2: Installing the Rear Camera

The rear camera can be installed either inside the car (e.g., on the rear window) or outside (above the license plate). For external installation, use the rear camera bracket and 3M adhesive sticker. Ensure the camera has a clear view of the rear.

Step 3: Connecting Power and GPS

Connect the car charger to the Type-C interface on the mirror dash cam. Route the cable neatly along the windshield and A-pillar. Connect the GPS antenna to its dedicated port on the dash cam and secure it on the dashboard, ensuring a clear view of the sky for optimal signal reception.

Operating Instructions

Display and Touch Screen

The WOLFBOX G900 features a 12-inch IPS smart touch screen with 1920x480P resolution. It offers high light transmittance and anti-glare processing for clear visibility even in bright sunlight or night glare. The touch interface allows for intuitive navigation and setting adjustments.

Recording Modes

The dash cam records in 4K (3840x2160@25fps) for the front camera and 2.5K (2560x1440@25fps) for the rear camera, ensuring high-quality video capture. It supports continuous loop recording, automatically overwriting the oldest unlocked videos to ensure constant recording without manual intervention.

• WDR Technology: Equipped with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology and an F1.5 large aperture, the cameras adapt to various light environments, providing clear footage day and night, even through tunnels.

• The G900 features an upgraded supercapacitor for enhanced durability and extreme temperature resistance (-4℉ to 158℉). Avoid exposing the device to temperatures outside this range for prolonged periods.

Troubleshooting

• Device Not Powering On: Ensure the car charger is properly connected and the vehicle's power outlet is functioning. If using the hardwire kit, verify connections to the fuse box.

• Rear Camera Display Problems: Verify the rear camera cable is securely connected to the main unit. Check for any physical damage to the cable or camera.
• GPS Signal Loss: Ensure the GPS antenna is placed in an open area on the dashboard with a clear view of the sky. Avoid placing it under metallic objects.
• Screen Glare: Adjust the screen brightness settings via the touch screen interface. The anti-glare processing helps, but direct strong light can still cause some reflection.
