Setup Guide
Battery Installation
- Alarm Clock: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the alarm clock. Insert 2 x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover.
- Wireless Sensor: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the wireless sensor. Insert 2 x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover.
Initial Power-On and Radio Signal Reception
- After inserting batteries, the alarm clock will automatically begin searching for the DCF77 radio time signal. This process may take several minutes.
- Place the alarm clock near a window for optimal signal reception. A signal icon will appear on the display once synchronization is successful.
- The outdoor sensor will automatically connect to the alarm clock. Ensure the sensor is placed within range (typically up to 30 meters in open air) and away from direct sunlight or rain.
Manual Time Setting (Optional)
If the radio signal is weak or unavailable, you can set the time manually:
- Press and hold the 'SET' button (usually located on the side or back) until the hour digits begin to flash.
- Use the '+' or '-' buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press 'SET' again to confirm the hour and move to the minute setting.
- Use the '+' or '-' buttons to adjust the minutes.
- Press 'SET' to confirm and exit manual time setting.
Operating Instructions
Setting Alarms (Alarm 1 & Alarm 2)
- Press the 'ALARM' button once to view Alarm 1 time.
- Press and hold the 'ALARM' button until the Alarm 1 hour digits flash.
- Use the '+' or '-' buttons to set the desired hour for Alarm 1.
- Press 'ALARM' again to confirm the hour and move to the minute setting.
- Use the '+' or '-' buttons to set the desired minutes for Alarm 1.
- Press 'ALARM' to confirm and exit Alarm 1 setting.
- Repeat steps 1-6 for Alarm 2 by pressing 'ALARM' twice to view Alarm 2 time.
Activating/Deactivating Alarms
To activate or deactivate an alarm, press the 'ALARM' button repeatedly until the desired alarm icon (e.g., ① or ②) appears or disappears on the display. An active alarm will show its corresponding icon.
Snooze Function
When an alarm sounds, press the large 'SNOOZE/LIGHT' button (usually on top) to temporarily silence the alarm. The alarm will sound again after approximately 5-10 minutes (duration may vary by model). To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button or let it ring for its full duration.
Backlight Operation
Press the 'SNOOZE/LIGHT' button to activate the white backlight for a few seconds, improving readability in low-light conditions.
Temperature Display
The alarm clock displays both indoor ('IN') and outdoor ('OUT') temperatures. The outdoor temperature is received from the wireless sensor. Ensure the sensor is properly paired and within range for accurate readings.
Date Display
The LCD display shows the current date, including day of the week and month, automatically synchronized by the radio signal.
