Model: Omega 350 | Brand: Vango

Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Vango Omega 350 tent. The Vango Omega 350 is a spacious and lightweight tunnel tent designed for 3 people, suitable for 4-season use, and features a waterproof construction.

Please read this manual thoroughly before attempting to pitch or use your tent to ensure proper handling and longevity of the product.

Included Components

Your Vango Omega 350 tent package should contain the following items:

  • Tent Flysheet and Inner Tent (pre-attached for easy pitching)
  • Tent Poles (Vango PowerLite 7001-T6 Alloy Poles)
  • Tent Pegs
  • Guy Ropes (Orange reflective guylines)
  • Tent Bag

Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to correctly pitch your Vango Omega 350 tent. The tent features a flysheet and inner tent that pitch together for quick and easy setup.

Step 1: Site Selection and Unpacking

Choose a flat, clear area for pitching, free from sharp objects. Unpack the tent from its bag and lay out the flysheet and inner tent flat on the ground.

Step 2: Assemble and Insert Poles

Assemble the Vango PowerLite 7001-T6 Alloy Poles. These poles are color-coded for intuitive pitching. Slide the assembled poles through the corresponding sleeves on the flysheet. Ensure the poles are fully seated in the pole pockets.

Step 3: Raise and Secure the Tent

Once all poles are inserted, begin to raise the tent. Secure the tent corners with pegs. Work your way around the tent, pegging down all attachment points firmly into the ground. Ensure the tent is taut but not over-stressed.

Step 4: Attach and Tension Guy Ropes

Attach the orange reflective guylines to their designated points on the flysheet. Extend them outwards and peg them down securely. Use the Line-Lok guyline runners to adjust tension, ensuring the tent is stable and resistant to wind. Multiple reflective points on pegging points enhance visibility in low light.

Maintenance and Care

Proper care will extend the life of your tent.

  • Cleaning: Clean your tent with a soft sponge and lukewarm water. Do not use detergents, bleach, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the fabric's waterproof coating.
  • Drying: Always ensure the tent is completely dry before packing it away. Packing a damp tent can lead to mildew and fabric degradation.
  • Storage: Store the tent in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Pole Care: Inspect poles for damage before and after each use. Clean any dirt from pole sections and ferrules.
  • Groundsheet: The 70D 6000MM HH Polyester Groundsheet is waterproof, durable, reliable, and easy to clean. Wipe clean as needed.

Packing and Storage

To pack your tent efficiently:

  1. Ensure the tent is clean and completely dry.
  2. Remove all poles and pegs. Fold the poles neatly and bundle them.
  3. Fold the flysheet and inner tent to match the length of the pole bag.
  4. Place the pole bag and peg bag on one end of the folded tent.
  5. Roll the tent tightly, expelling as much air as possible.
  6. Place the rolled tent into the tent bag.

The packed size of the Vango Omega 350 is approximately 49 x 20cm.
