3. Setup

3.1 Connecting the Scanner

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Scanning Modes

• Key Trigger Mode: Press the trigger button to scan each barcode. This is the default and most common mode.
• Automatic Mode (Continuous Scan): When placed on the stand, the scanner can be configured to continuously scan barcodes presented in its field of view without pressing the trigger. Refer to the programming guide (usually a separate barcode sheet) to activate this mode.
• Single Scan Mode: Similar to key trigger, but might have specific settings for single-shot scanning.

4.2 Data Upload Modes

• Instant Upload Mode: Barcode data is transmitted to the connected computer immediately after scanning. This is suitable for real-time data entry.
• Memory Mode: Barcode data is stored in the scanner's internal memory. This is useful when working out of range of the receiver. Data can be uploaded later by scanning a specific "upload data" barcode from the programming guide.
