  • Use the provided mixing bottle for accurate measurement.
  • Shake the mixture thoroughly before pouring it into the fuel tank.

4. Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the controls and operating procedures before starting the engine.

4.1 Starting the Engine

  1. Place the brush cutter on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Fill the fuel tank with the correct fuel mixture (0.85 L capacity).
  3. Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible.
  4. Move the choke lever to the 'CLOSED' position.
  5. Set the ignition switch to 'ON'.
  6. Pull the starter cord firmly and steadily until the engine fires (usually 1-3 pulls).
  7. Once the engine fires, move the choke lever to the 'OPEN' position.
  8. Pull the starter cord again until the engine starts and runs smoothly.
  9. Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before engaging the throttle.

4.2 Using the Brush Cutter

  • Attach the shoulder harness and adjust it for comfortable and balanced operation. The anti-vibration system helps reduce fatigue.
  • Hold the handlebar firmly with both hands. The adjustable contoured handle provides precise control.
  • Maintain a firm footing and balance.
  • Engage the throttle gradually to bring the cutting attachment up to speed.
  • Cut with a sweeping motion, moving from right to left for optimal cutting and debris ejection.
  • Avoid hitting hard objects like rocks or fences, as this can damage the blade or the machine.

4.3 Stopping the Engine

  • Release the throttle to allow the engine to idle.
  • Move the ignition switch to the 'OFF' position.
  • Wait for all moving parts to come to a complete stop before setting the machine down.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your brush cutter.

5.1 After Each Use

  • Clean the exterior of the brush cutter, removing grass, dirt, and debris.
  • Inspect the cutting blade for damage or dullness. Sharpen or replace as needed.
  • Check all nuts, bolts, and fasteners for tightness.

5.2 Periodic Maintenance

  • Air Filter: Clean or replace the air filter regularly (every 10-20 hours of operation) to ensure proper engine performance.
  • Spark Plug: Inspect and clean the spark plug. Replace if worn or fouled (every 50 hours of operation).
  • Fuel Filter: Check and replace the fuel filter annually or if fuel delivery issues occur.
  • Gear Head: Lubricate the gear head with appropriate grease periodically.

5.3 Storage

  • Drain the fuel tank completely or use a fuel stabilizer if storing for more than 30 days.
