Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all accessories (concentrator, diffuser) are present.
2. Inspect: Check the appliance for any visible damage. Do not use if damaged.
3. Power Connection: Plug the hair dryer into a standard 125V AC household outlet. The plug features a safety breaker reset button. If the unit does not power on, press the reset button on the plug.
4. Attach Accessories:
   • To attach the Smoothing Concentrator or Curl Enhancing Diffuser, align the attachment with the nozzle of the hair dryer and push firmly until it clicks into place.
   • To remove, gently pull the attachment off the nozzle. Ensure the dryer is cool before attaching or removing accessories.

Operating Instructions

Before styling, towel-dry hair to remove excess moisture. For best results, use with your preferred styling products.

General Drying

1. Power On: Slide the bottom switch to 'LOW' or 'HIGH' to turn on the dryer.
2. Select Heat and Speed: Use the top switch to select your desired heat setting (LOW, MED, HIGH) and the bottom switch for speed (LOW, HIGH).
3. Drying Technique: Direct the airflow from roots to ends. For added volume, lift sections of hair at the roots while drying.
4. Cold Shot: Once hair is almost dry, press and hold the Cold Shot button (snowflake icon) to set your style with a burst of cool air.

Using the Concentrator

The Smoothing Concentrator is ideal for precise styling and straightening. Attach it to the nozzle before turning on the dryer.

• Use a round brush to guide sections of hair while directing the concentrated airflow.
• Move the concentrator slowly down the hair shaft, following the brush.

Using the Diffuser

The Curl Enhancing Diffuser is perfect for defining natural curls and adding volume without frizz. Attach it to the nozzle before turning on the dryer.

• Gently place sections of hair into the diffuser bowl.
• Lift the diffuser towards the scalp, allowing the prongs to gently lift and separate curls.
• Use a low heat and speed setting to prevent frizz and maintain curl definition.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your hair dryer.

1. Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Clean Air Intake Filter: The removable end cap allows access to the air intake filter. Twist or pull off the end cap (refer to Figure 1 for location). Gently wipe away any dust or lint from the filter screen with a soft, dry cloth or a small brush.
3. Reattach End Cap: Once clean, securely reattach the end cap.
4. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the hair dryer with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5. Storage: Store the hair dryer in a cool, dry place. You can use the hanging ring for convenient storage. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance as this can damage the cord.
