Setup and Assembly

1. Charging the Battery

1. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet.
2. Slide the 4.0Ah battery pack onto the charger until it clicks into place.
3. The battery indicator lights on the charger will show the charging status. A full charge is indicated when all lights are solid green.
4. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

2. Installing/Removing the Battery Pack

• To Install: Align the battery pack with the base of the drill handle and slide it in until it locks securely.
• To Remove: Press the battery release button (located on the front of the battery pack) and slide the battery out.

3. Installing Drill Bits/Accessories

1. Ensure the drill is off and the battery is removed for safety.
2. Twist the 1/2-inch keyless all-metal chuck counter-clockwise to open the jaws.
3. Insert the desired drill bit or screwdriver bit into the chuck. Ensure it is centered.
4. Twist the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws firmly around the bit. Hand-tighten only.

Operating Instructions

1. Selecting Speed

The drill features a 2-speed selector switch located on top of the drill housing:

• Position 1 (Low Speed): 0-550 RPM, ideal for high torque applications like driving screws or drilling larger holes in softer materials.
• Position 2 (High Speed): 0-2000 RPM, suitable for fast drilling in wood or metal.

2. Adjusting Torque (Clutch Setting)

The 22+1 torque setting ring allows you to adjust the amount of torque applied. This prevents over-driving screws and protects the workpiece. The "+1" setting is for drilling mode, which bypasses the clutch for maximum power.

1. Rotate the torque adjustment ring to the desired setting. Lower numbers are for smaller screws or softer materials. Higher numbers are for larger screws or harder materials.
2. For drilling, select the drill icon setting (usually the highest number or a dedicated drill symbol).

3. Forward/Reverse Rotation

The forward/reverse switch is located above the trigger. Push it left for forward rotation (drilling/driving screws) and right for reverse rotation (removing screws/bits). The center position locks the trigger for safety.

4. Variable Speed Trigger

The trigger provides variable speed control. Pressing the trigger further increases the speed. This allows for precise control during operation.
