5. Installation Instructions

The DLR56 is designed for easy retrofit installation into existing 5-inch or 6-inch recessed housings. Follow these steps for proper installation:

  1. Prepare the Housing: Ensure power to the existing recessed fixture is turned off at the circuit breaker. Remove the existing bulb and trim from the recessed housing.
  2. Connect the Adapter: Install the provided Edison base adapter into the existing light socket or connect using the IDEAL style connector if applicable.
