Setup
Powering the Device
Your Greadio Boombox can be powered in two ways:
- AC Power Supply: For indoor use, connect the supplied AC charging cord to the AC IN jack on the back of the unit and plug the other end into a standard 110-120V AC wall outlet. This is the primary method for continuous power.
- DC Power Supply (Batteries): For portable use, insert 6 x 'C' size batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. Ensure correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

General Controls

CD Playback
- Press the FUNC button repeatedly until "CD" mode is displayed on the LCD screen.
- Open the CD compartment cover by gently lifting the "OPEN/CLOSE" tab.
- Place a CD (CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 format supported) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD compartment cover firmly. The CD will begin playing automatically.
- Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP/EJ., F.FWD (forward), and F.REW (rewind) buttons to control playback.

Cassette Playing
- Press the FUNC button repeatedly until "TAP" (Tape) mode is displayed on the LCD screen.
- Open the cassette compartment door by pressing the STOP/EJ. button.
- Insert a cassette tape into the compartment with the open side facing up and the desired side facing forward.
- Close the cassette compartment door.
- Press the PLAY button to start playback.
- Use the PAUSE, STOP/EJ., F.FWD, and F.REW buttons to control tape operations.

Tape Recording
The unit supports recording audio from CD, USB, Bluetooth, AUX, or Radio modes onto a blank cassette tape. Note: This unit cannot record voice.
- Ensure the CD player is loaded with a disc (or select USB, Bluetooth, AUX, or Radio mode) and the machine is turned on.
- Insert a blank cassette tape into the cassette compartment.
- Press the PLAY button and the REC (Record) button simultaneously to begin recording.
- Press the STOP/EJ. button to stop recording.
- To play back the recorded content, press the FUNC button to select "TAP" mode, then use the F.REW button to rewind to the beginning of the recorded segment, and press PLAY.

Bluetooth Connection
- Press the FUNC button repeatedly until "BT" (Bluetooth) mode is displayed on the LCD screen.
- The unit will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing "BT" on the display.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), search for available Bluetooth devices.
- Select "CD-X2A" from the list of devices to pair. Once connected, "BT" will stop flashing and remain solid.
- You can now play audio from your Bluetooth device through the boombox.

AM/FM Radio
- Press the FUNC button repeatedly until "RAD" (Radio) mode is displayed on the LCD screen.
- Extend the telescopic antenna for better FM reception. For AM, rotate the unit for optimal signal.
- Use the TUNING knob on the side of the unit to manually tune to your desired AM or FM station. The frequency will be displayed on the LCD.

AUX/USB Playback

Headphone Jack
