Setup Instructions

1. Initial Opening and Battery Installation

1. Locate the emergency keyhole, usually hidden behind the control panel or a removable cover.
2. Insert the emergency key and turn it to unlock the safe door.
3. Open the safe door. Inside, locate the battery compartment, typically on the back of the door or inside the safe.
4. Install 4 AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
5. Once batteries are installed, the electronic system will power on.

2. Programming Passwords and Fingerprints

It is crucial to program at least one fingerprint and a personal password immediately after initial setup to ensure proper security and prevent unauthorized access. The default setting allows any fingerprint to open the safe until a specific fingerprint is programmed.

• Setting a User Password:
  1. With the door open, press the internal reset button (usually a small button near the battery compartment). The indicator light will flash.
  2. On the touch screen, enter your desired 6-8 digit password, then press '#' to confirm.
  3. Re-enter the same password and press '#' again to confirm. The light will stop flashing, indicating successful programming.
• Registering Fingerprints (up to 20):
  1. With the door open, press the internal reset button. The indicator light will flash.
  2. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor. Lift and repeat 4-5 times until the indicator light turns solid green, indicating successful registration.
  3. Repeat for additional fingerprints as desired.

3. Mounting the Safe

For enhanced security, it is highly recommended to mount the safe to a wall or floor using the provided hardware.

1. Choose a suitable location, such as inside a closet, on a shelf, or against a wall.
2. Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes on the back of the safe.
3. Drill holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit for your wall/floor material.
4. Align the safe with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided mounting bolts/screws. Ensure it is firmly attached.

Operating Instructions

1. Opening the Safe

• Using Fingerprint: Place a registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The safe will automatically open within 1 second if the fingerprint is recognized.
• Using Digital Password: Enter your programmed 6-8 digit password on the touch screen, then press '#'. The safe will open automatically.
• Using Virtual Password: To prevent password peeping, you can enter random digits before and after your actual password. For example, if your password is "123456", you can enter "987123456321#" (random digits + password + random digits + #). The system will recognize the correct sequence within the longer string.
• Using Emergency Key: In case of battery failure or forgotten password, use the emergency key to manually open the safe.

2. Closing the Safe

Simply push the door firmly until it clicks shut. The automatic locking mechanism will engage. Ensure the door is fully closed to maintain security.

3. Alarm System

The safe is equipped with an anti-theft alarm system. If multiple incorrect password or fingerprint attempts are made, or if the safe experiences significant vibration/impact, the alarm will activate. To silence the alarm, use a correct access method (fingerprint, password, or emergency key).

Maintenance

• Battery Replacement: When the battery indicator light flashes or the system becomes unresponsive, replace all 4 AA batteries. Use the external battery pack if the internal batteries are completely drained and you cannot open the safe.
